Topic: Dr. Bour's post-op patients...Phase 2 foods?

Hi guys!

This question is for Dr. Bour's post-op patients who have gotten past the Phase 2 diet. I was wondering what are some of the "ok's" that were allowed and what you tolerated well. Hope I'm making sense here.

My surgery is not until Oct. 14th, but I've been sitting here thinking about it and was just wondering what was allowed.

I hate that I missed last night. My back has been giving me a fit. The doctors's want to do more surgery. I'm not up for that again. Not yet. It was the hardest surgery ever and it only seems to be worse years later. Susan is trying to talk me into it, but I don't see it. I am at the doctor's once sometimes twice a week....Enought crybaby stuff.

Married life is great. I love our new home. Alot more to clean, but it's worth it.

If no one has offered for November, I would like to host it. What would be a good day for you Susanne? How about a Saturday afternoon?

I am looking forward to the December party. They are always lots of fun.

Boy this Board has gotten so quiet and slow...what's up??????

I guess we are all busy living our new lives......

Glad to see you guys last night. Lesley and Eddie look so happy, Gayle is looking great (like a new person)...Rose is down another 10 lbs. and Julie came out of hiding....and JoAnn is doing great at 3 mos out and down 65 lbs., way to go JoAnn....and I can't forget dear sweet Ana and her cutie pie little one Joey. I love you all and was so glad to see you.

All of that said, we discussed the fact that it is getting harder for everyone to get to meetings on weeknights and were thinking we would have a once a month "party" at someone's house. We can celebrate all of the birthdays for the month. Lesley and Eddie volunteered for October's party (it is Lesley, Dollie & Julie's birthday month---anyone else?). They will provide details when they figure out their football schedule....lol.... I will have the December Christmas/birthday party....anyone up for doing November at their house?
