Hi all, I'm wondering if anyone can give me some advice please.

I'm 13 days post op and following my surgeons advice for a fluid diet. She says that I should be drinking 2 milk powder shakes a day. Although I do not have a problem with milk, the skimmed milk powder I have to add to this makes me gag. I can manage a couple of sips and no more.

Is there anything else I can try? I am not due to see my surgeon until 20 April. The advice I've been given seems to conflict with other advice I've seen and heard. i.e. fluid diet for four weeks??

I would be grateful for any help.

Thanks, Erica

Congrats. You won't have to wait long for a date. I think after I was approved, I waited all of 2-3 days to get a date.

Topic: RE: DENIED COVERAGE......
I have been helping my in laws look for coverage for the last few weeks and it is very expensive and we haven't found one that covers the surgery in SC.  As for the employer's not opting for the coverage in the policies that's what happen to us. They get a lower premium if it is not included. I think it really stinks and I wish you the best and will keep you in my prayers.

I found out today I was approved from my insurance company but the doctor's office haven't called to set up a date. I am sure it will be any day now though, I am so excited!
