Need advice on weight loss

BC requires a 10% body weight loss.... I have approximately 10-15 lbs left... and it seems that I am not losing... I'm just at a standstill.l I am wondering if since I have tried to stay true to the low carb diet for at least 2 but almost 3 yrs, does it get to a point where it doesnt work anymore? Maybe I should try low calories? Low fat? Help! I need to lose this weight hopefully in 4 wks. Is it possible? I have been walking my arse off and it doesnt seem to be getting me anywhere.

I really don't know Melinda. I did a 1200 calorie a day 6 month program, some form of exercise 3 x a week and I still continually lost and gained the same 10-15lbs the entire 6 months. I always had the fastest results by following the 1st 2 weeks of the atkins plan...absolutely no carbs. I averaged about 14lbs in those 2 weeks. But everyone is different. I couldn't stick with it b/c I always got migraine headaches when I did atkins. Also try uping your exercise...push yourself harder, go a little faster, go a little longer, use the incline option if you're using a treadmill, etc. Good luck. April

April S. gave good advise, also up your water intake. Try to get 80 oz per day, it's only a few more glasses that the recommended 64 oz. Concentrate on lean dense protein first then add a few veggies, but not starchy ones. Good luck. Toni
