HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello everyone! I am home from the hospital & had to come on and say hello and THANK YOU to EVERYONE! I Thank you all for your warm & well wishes, I have noticed that I have more in my mailbox, but I have not checked them all yet. I am a little sore, the meds that they gave me when I came out of surgery didn't work and I was in excrusiating pain for an hour, then they gave me dilotted and I have had very, very little pain, and really not much gas pain; except for when it gets into the top of my chest and sits there for a few seconds. The hospital stay was good, the only thing that I wish that I had,had was a STEP STOOL so that it would be eaiser to get in & out of the bed since it didn't go down low enough to get on it comfortably. But a step stoll is something that I would tell anyone to take with them.
Welcome to the losers side Kim! I remember my first day in the hospital. They made me get up and walk only a few hours out of surgery... and use that spirometer...that was the worst. It got better though. I didn't really have any gas pains either. My experience at Centennial was great. Keep us posted on how you're doing!

Hello Kimmy! So glad we got to meet face to face. I meant to stop by your room yesterday morning before I left for home but once the ball started rolling, things were pretty busy. Were you discharge today? I totally agree w/you on the step stool. That was something I'd encountered when I had c-sections with our two kids and don't know why I didn't remmeber that being a problem. My dh offered the tops of his feet for me to push on but that just didn't feel secure although I appreciated the sweet offer. So nice to meet your dh, mom and two little ones (who are all adorable). Glad to hear you're feeling better now. I've had a small challenge today in getting all my liquids in. I'm still not there yet for the day but will keep trying. When do you go back for your followup? I go back next Friday. Can't wait!!!! We absolutely HAVE to keep in touch, girl, okay?
Keep me posted! And big hugs to you!!!
