My Choice !

Things haven't gone to well in the last couple of weeks. short on money, heat wave, air conditioner broke, .  and to top it all off, someone who works on insurance told me I would be denied because I have lost more than 10% of my body weight and have not put it back on!  I immediately wanted to go on the "Blue Bell " diet, you know the one.  It's where you eat a 1/2 gallon of ice cream, your choice, every day for 2 weeks!  did I do it, NO!  I chose not to!   Guess what? I think it's all how you look at it! You can choose to have a bad day, eat ice cream, or say to heck with it all,  or you can choose to have a good day, eat healthy and say I'm gonna fight this ! Once again it comes down to choices, just like it did with R.J. on Saturday (What a Day !) So here it is..."I'm gonna have a good day! There I said it, so that means it should work...right?  It's more than just saying it, it's doing it. As I sit here contemplating what the day will bring, I also look at what it's brought in the past. I have a great wife who is doing things to for herself. She is loosing weight so she can be a healthier person. She leaves for work every morning at 6:00 and because of football practice, does not get home till after 8:00 on most nights. On the weekend, she cooks healthy foods so we can "scoop & nuke" when we get home. I have a wonderful son! He is doing great in school! I was worried, he transfered to a public school this year. I should have known he would thrive in that surrounding. He is doing great at football! Hopefully he will be my wife and I's retirement plan! LOL !!!  You know what, I am Blessed with a capital B! I have nothing to complain about, it could always be worse! Making choices, I think that's what God had in mind when he gave us free will! So I am going to make the choice, here it goes, wait on it...I AM GOING TO HAVE A GOOD DAY, NO MATTER WHAT IS THROWN MY WAY! Have a great day guys!  Remember, It's your choice! Scott,   That is exactly how I felt when I got my denied yesterday. I could get so upset or be thankful all my tests proved me healthy as a horse just extremely overweight. I decided I was blessed just start a diet & eating better. I am so blessed with family just as you said.  Best of luck, Ellen

Great Attitude, lousy news!  Keep trying, I've heard numerous people say they were denied the first time and that finally the insurance company figured out they were serious.

I thought they went by your weight when you started the 6 month supervised diet. That doesn't sound fair that they would require the diet and then use the results to deny you. I do love your positive attitude though. With or without surgery, you are a loser along with the rest of us. Love ya you Beautiful Bald guy you!!
