Knoxville - Fountain City Support Group Meeting

I just wanted to let everyone know that there is a support group meeting in Fountain City on Thursday evening at 7pm.  I'd love to see you there - if you can make it and don't live toooo far away that is!!  Let me know if you have any questions. Here's the details...

North Knoxville POD

 

 

When:  We meet the 3rd Thursday of each month at Fountain City Methodist Church at 7:00 pm in the choir room.

 

Who:  We invite everyone that is interested in WLS and encourage them to bring their support person(s) as well as post-operative patients ranging from newbies to people maintaining their loss.  The moderators for the meeting are Sandra Hatcher and her husband Leroy Hatcher.

 

Directions:  to Fountain City Methodist Church take I-640 to Broadway to the Fountain City Lake (Duck Pond), Turn Left on Hotel Ave. at the red light and then the first left into the church parking lot across from the park.

 

Most months we average 20+ people in attendance and start our conversations with going around the room and everyone introducing themselves and telling at what part of the WLS journey they are currently experiencing.  We have a wide variety of people from different backgrounds and all find common interest in helping each other by giving support and suggestions.  We can’t wait to see you there!

Hi, Sorry I couldn't make it this month.  I really want to get involved but can't drive that far at present.  Hopefully by next month, I can make it. Marilyn

Hi Marilyn, I totally understand. I thought the 640 traffic would be bad due to 40 being closed but it wasn't.  Take care and just know you are welcome anytime! Jenspen

Thanks so much Jen for sharing this info...that is a GREAT idea! It was wonderful to see you and Lee tonight...you both look GREAT!!!! I didn't get to talk to you much...sorry...
