Just wanted to remind everyone about Sat, our picnic is going to be at Two River's Park off Briley Pkwy, it should start around 11:00. It is open to anyone, doesn't matter what stage you are in, which hopsital, which doctor, which surgery. It is open to patients, support people, family, friends, etc. Just bring food for you/your family and all of it will be put together. You might want to bring lawn chairs. I will have frisbee's, badmitten, vollyeball, horsehoes, playball, etc. I will have a cooler of nothing but ice, but that might not be enough for everyone, so unless you ice down your drinks, some of you might want to bring more ice. I also have the plates (fyi the plates are just the cheap ones not the foam, but I think I have like 1,000, so we can double or triple them), cups, plastic ware, napkins, salt and pepper, table cloths. I "plan" on getting there by 9:00 to get everything set up. I am going to try to put up balloons or something to help everyone find the shelter, but it is real easy. When you turn into the the park, you will go pass the big playground on the left and take the next right, follow that road around and you will see the shelter on the left. My last count was 30-35 people, I would like to see more, so come on allready........lol  The price for the shelter was $25.00 for the whole day so we have it from 6am-11pm. I would like to ask everyone to donate what they can and anything over the fee will go towards the Walk. We will also have Walk from Obesity Cookbooks on sale for $10.00 each and will be signing people up for the Walk, that fee is $25.00. So don't forget your checkbook and or cash, we will take both.....lol Feel free to bring music, more games, bikes, cameras, etc. There is no electricity at the shelter. Also, if you are bringing something that has to be grilled, you will have to furnish everything needed for that, there are no grills at the shelter. I have "ORDERED" a no rain day, and right now they are telling me its a go for no rain. But we know how Nashville is, that could change in a heartbeat. I think the temp is suppose to be 72-75, I think we can handle that. If anyone needs anymore information please let me know. I will have my cell with me on Sat if you think you might need/want it just in case, PM me and I will be more than glad to send it to you. OH and I almost forgot, the ones that show up will get to "see" my WOW moment.........hehehe I am hoping for a great, fun time I want everything to go off without a hitch, and I am looking forward to seeing everyone again and meeting the newbies. Thanks for the huge reponse to this, I have enjoyed getting this together. Cheryl

Well, believe it or not, I think I'm actually going to get to come! I will probably get there around noon or so (I have to work till 11am). My sweet hubby is going to take care of taking the boys to their rehearsals and all, and said to "go and have a good time". Isn't he SWEET?! By the way, I have a friend (a teacher at the boys' school) - Sandra Muggu - who had bypass last June. She has done incredibly well, but the last couple of months she has not been able to hook up w/ her support group. She is really down and NEEDS SOME SUPPORT!! I have invited her to come to the picnic, and she said she and her husband may come. If she gets there before I do, please love on her (like I know you will). I can't wait to see you all! ~ Tara
