a wow for me

I told some of you at the picnic today about how excited I was that I was able to purchase a skirt in a size 16.  Well I went to find a top to match it today at Target after the picnic.  I could not find anything over in the plus size that was the right color but in the reg sizes there was the perfect shirt.  I grab a large and thought theres noway this is gonna fit- WRONG.  It fit me and I bought it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  That really made me fell good.  Thought I would share.  Melissa

Melissa THAT IS AWESOME!  Kiss those plus sizes GOOD BYE!  You know, when I first got out of plus sizes, my legs just seemed to naturally walk me straight to that section...I had to purpose myself NOT to walk over there and look around.  THEN I got the attitude, "I have supported you long enough...  I will not support you anymore.  Even if I were to find the perfect piece of clothing that was made just for me, I am not buying it out of that department any more!"  It took a few weeks/month before it got sunknen down into my head "I AM NOT PLUS SIZE ANYMORE!"  So you get your skinny THIN little TINY normal REAR END over in the regular sizes, Missy! lol

Thanks everyone- your right Melinda- I just like auto pilot go to the plus size- not anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I will try and get a picture taken this afternoon.  Melissa

Congrats to you Melissa.  It is a wonderful feeling.  I went shopping at Kohl's this afternoon and purchased tops out of the Misses section - I am now an XL in the Misses section and that is a great feeling.  The bottoms are still pluses, but not or much longer as they are all getting too big.  Keep up the good work - you look awesome.
