I think the Picnic was a sucess

I am so glad that everyone had a good time yesterday. I so wanted this work for us. For those that wasn't able to attend, wether it was you not feeling good, had other plans, etc. we understood but we will missed the heck out of you........LOL. I want to thank everyone for coming. We had a total of 21 people there, so much food. Phil made the remark when all the food got there, that he doesn't remember the last time that he had been to a southern picnic and there was no fried chicken......hehe. For the Lunch Bunch last week and the picnic yesterday we have raised $33.00 for the walk and that was after the $25.00 fee was covered. Thanks everyone for pitching in. I also want to thank everyone for helping to get things cleaned up and loaded up, that goes out to the young men R.J., Dale, L.A. also, you all was a big help to all of us. Melinda, thanks for the goodies for the game again, that was fun. Beth thanks for the clothes I haven't went through them yet, but can't wait. Phil is a little sore after his tumble that he had, but no brusies and all tubes are still in tact...........hehe. My knee's are giving me a fit this morning, but I will be fine. This is the good kinda sore. Oh and little Gabriel made his OH debew, he his adorable. Chandra, we are thinking about you and will be tomorrow. You will do fine, you keep us posted on how you are doing. Rita and family, so glad that you made it down from Clarksville to be with us. It was so good to see everyone again, we need to do this more often. Melinda, I wish that you would have still been there to hear everyone talk about how interested in your bowling idea they were. Phil told me that we might could have like a bowl-a-thon between all of us and maybe donate to the walk like a penny a pin for our score. What'ca think? Just one more time, I'm glad everyone enjoyed themselves and thanks to everyone for your help in making this a sucess. Cheryl

Thank you so much Cheryl and Phil. I had a great time and my kids got some exercise and then we went to the Opry Mills Mall and saw Elena, her honey and little Gabriel. lol  It was such a good experience and I hope that I can now attend the Lunch Bunches. Thank you for organizing it and putting everything together. I enjoyed meeting everyone. :)

I'm sorry I couldn't be there.  I had class that day, so I wouldn't have been able to make it anyway...but it sounds like you all had a lovely time. I'm glad it was a success.  Dinner club will resume next month, given the last weekend this month is Memorial day weekend.  Have a good week all!
