Spanx stays in place. They are not constricting. I love my spanx.

I have the spanx that go down to mid calf.  They are really good.  I also have one of those one piece things that I got at the Bali outlet.  It is really comfortable, but I am not as impressed with the bra.  I also have had to start wearing padded bras, I am using the Wonderbra underwire gel bra. (I am sure the guys are getting a kick out of this)  I also found these shirt like things that are like spanx for the upper arms.  They are a spandex shirt that is long sleeved and only goes to right below your bra line.  The are very low necked so you can wear almost anything with them.  With my batwings, they really help.

Stomach and midriff (I look like I have a 2nd set of boobs growing - LOL).  I did purchase a garment on Saturday at Kohl's.  It is called Flexees. It is thigh length and goes all the way up to just under my breasts.  I put it on yesterday morning and within 10 minutes couldn't take a deep breath and felt as if I was being cut in 2 pieces.  It did a great job of smoothing everyting out and holding everything in (and it states it is "light" coverage), but it was just very uncomfortable.  I'm going to try it on again and see if it gets any better.  I will probably go by Target and pick up one of theirs and see how it works and just keep trying ones until I find one that is comfortable and provides what I need.

I give another vote for spanx! They are more expensive, but worth it 100%. They don't roll, are industrial strength, but doesn't dig into your flesh. With some of the other brands, I've felt like I had a band laying across my bypass it was so tight. If you like e-bay, you can find some good deals on new ones on e-bay.

Spanx and Assets are made by the same company.  I have not tried Spanx, but I did try Assets.  They are sold at Target for $20.  The one I have goes down my leg (maybe 5 inches) and the band comes almost all the way up to just below my bra line.  I like it a lot, but perhaps the Spanx would be worth the investment.  It probably is made much stronger, thus the reason for a higher cost.  It would be worth trying the Assets though.  I have been very happy with it  I just wi**** had a padded bra in it

I was fitted on Friday and went with a friend today and she was fitted.  I have lost 80 lbs and she has lost 76 lbs.  We both felt like we needed support and suck it in stuff.

My email address is:  [email protected]

I will tell you more about it.

Thanks to everyone for all their ideas.  I did purchase a garment on Saturday (see my earlier post), but may go by Target and try what they have.  If that doesn't work, since Spanx seems to be a big hit with a number of you, I'll probably give them a try as well.  I'll keep you all posted.
