My Biopsy is Today
Best of luck to you Tinkerbell! I am sure everything will work out but will still keep you in my prayers. Thyroid problems run in my family on my mothers side. My mother has had part of her thyroid removed and my grandmother had thyroid cancer twice. With alot of prayers and faith she beat it both times. All of her brothers and sisters have all had the operation and made out fine. I have the T-3 and T-4 test once in awhile to make sure mine doesn't act up. So far I have been lucky with no problems. I would like to think that it is not going to hit my generation but I have twin first cousins that was born with it. Poor things had poppy eyes and could not grow hair for years. They would wear blankets on there heads pretending they had hair. They were put on meds early and to this day have had no more trouble and have plenty of hair. Just keep a close watch on your thyroid no matter how tired you get. It is very important that you listen to the doctors and do what ever test they need to do. If you keep from having the surgery by just taking the meds that would be great wouldn't it??? Anyway, I wish you the best and hang in there!!! We are all rutting for you
