You're not going to believe this...
Hello Robin,
I am so excited for you Robin. You have gone through so much to get this date. Your life is about to take a very different turn. One for the better. Right now April 30th sounds like it's so far away but it will be here before you turn around. Just use the next few days to let your head catch up with all the wonder. IT'S FINALLY GOING TO HAPPEN!!! I know when I finally heard I was approved and had a date, it was one of those days you'll never forget, sort of like your wedding day, the birth of your children, the birth of your grandchildren, etc. It is definitely one that will go down in your memory as being unforgetable.
You are going to be filled with so many questions as the date draws near. Just relax and go with it. Remember you have a very good support system right here on the board. Each of us, whether we have been there or are still waiting our turn....we all can relate!!
I am so happy Robin....you deserve this so much with all that you've gone through to get to this point. I am so glad I signed in tonight and read your post. I'm not here as much as I would like to be. Seems that time is never on my side now and I wonder why I had so much time to post before. I can answer that easily....I am now living my life rather than sitting at home typing on the computer. I look forward to hearing your life changes as you start your new way of life. The wonderful life that this surgery gives you.
All my Love
Kathy

HI Kathy,
Isn't it funny - we research and research until we feel like we know all there is to know - then we get a date...and everything we thought we knew flies out of our brains?
I am sure that I will go back and reread all of my books and ask a million questions on here, too. Thanks soooo much for all of your kind words, sage advice, and support. It means more than you'll ever know! I had figured that you were busy living life with your "new" smaller body and awesome new hairdo and that was why we hadn't heard much from you! I am ecstatic that you are doing so well and enjoying life now! Keep it up!
Love,
Robin
