INOVA Fair Oaks Casino Night!

What fun this evening was! I could completely become addicted to Craps (the dice game!) if I could play on funny money all the time!  Blackjack was great fun too!  The best part was seeing the friends that I've made along this journey! It was fun to catch up with some "older" friends as well as some "newer" friends. You all have been an inspiration and support to me along this journey. (And I WILL reach onederland eventually, and be able to wrap my brain around the new body I have...someday...hopefully soon!)  The worst part was that I forgot to take any pictures!!! I even had my camera with me! UGH! I hope those of you that attended had as much fun as I did...and I hope those of you that went to the beach also had a great time. 

I am so sorry I missed this - yesterday was a really bad day for me - my husband went to Switzerland on a business trip and so we were all running around for him.  Then when I was running some errands my car broke down totally - AAA says they think it is the transmission and had to tow it to the garage - the car is less that 2 years old!! So I am carless until Monday.... So I just missed out all over yesterday - glad you all had such a good time! Jackie

Tara- I was going to email Nancy Golden to see if they'd be available.  I'll post something if I hear back.

Christina, You are right, It was fun.  I never learned to gamble but I still had fun.  Deb Greene really cleaned up.  We need to get her to give lessons.  It was great to see you.  I've missed you at Panera's. I should get a car from Dodge tomorrow if they are going to take longer than a couple of hours to fix my car - it really was just too much hasse to try to rent one on a Saturday - and then try to get reimbursed by them - and I am pretty sure they can't get the car fixed in one day so I will be with a car again in the morning.... thanks for the offer of help...... I appreciate it. Paula was already away in Virginia Beach for the weekend or I could have had her car - but my mother-in-law was here so I survived. We were going to Switzerland too but decided with my plastic surgery coming up on the 10th to not go otherwise we would just spend too much money - and I know us - we would be buying things like we would never return there and spend a fortune!  Glad you had a good time at the Casino night! Christina, Great seeing you and everyone! My husband Stu and I really enjoyed the gambling with the fake money and we were pleased to win the silent Auction night at Westfields! We were happy to contribute to a good cause!!!!!!!! It will be great to see the pictures. We didn't take as many as we  wish we had either. Several times Stu mentioned how nice everyone was. He enjoyed the evening as much as I did! I have to give the person credit who thought up the Casino night idea! Definitely seeing the friends that I have met along the party was the highlight as well! McLean
