Good am all and welcome to Wednesday!!! How's everyone doing this am? Well, folks here in Richmond we are really looking towards finally getting some much needed rain. I love that but hope it's "for real" later this pm. With odds of 90+% I sure hope so!!!  Are ya up? Have you taken some time for YOU this am? Smiling? Happy? Just getting by? Have ya given thanks for the new day we've made it to and all you have and all you'll receive?? I'm up & I've taken my shower and love my smell me goods that get my senses flowing. Bout to get Kayla the oldest bugga up and ready for school. If ya'll would say a few prayers as the buggas (both) asthma has been a bit active and they are feeling blah these last couple days. It is the season for sure. But, we are nipping it in the bud and hopefully by the weekend they'll be much better.  Picking up on reading books more often and bought 2 more last pm. They are both by Donna VanLiere who I adore. She is the author of The Christmas Shoes, The Christmas Blessing and now The Christmas Hope along with The Christmas Promise. I've read the first two and could NOT put them down. Honestly, all of you these are amazing books, surrounding the holidays and very spiritual and inspirational. I highly suggest ya'll have a looksie.  Today will be pretty low key as The Sleep Fairy and I are at odds mostly due to the buggas both being up for the last couple nights off and on and my mood has finally changed a bit. Wow what a long couple of weeks that was but I'm alive, well, have an amazing support system of family & connections and wonderful docs! I tell ya there is nothing better than being loved and supported and I have felt inspired and encouraged big time. So, thanks to some of you here and those who lurk for your kind words.  Been walking 2-4 miles per day again and loving it now that I'm over (somewhat) a medical hurdle and building up my strength for the next deal. It feels great that I am back to doing it and to boot Mom is walking with me. She thinks she is walking too slow but she's starting out really so she'll be fine.  Well, take care, enjoy your Wednesday, give thanks, smile for yourself and others, love yourself so you can love others, take time for you and God bless.... Goodmorning, Sunshine... I am up although not really awake!!!!    Have to get into the shower and go to physical therapy this am.  They will for sure get me going this morning.  At least they will wake up my arm!!!  Heheh.  Have been a little lazy lately due to the surgery but hopefully things will pick up here soon.  Got to get out of the gloomies (was it me telling you to get out of them?) and get back on track.  Just hard when I have so many things I want and need to do and am handicapped with this old shoulder.  Still can't drive so I am trapped in the house having to depend on others to drive me anywhere which I hate.    Maybe if it doesn't rain, I will stick my MP3 player in my sling and boogie down the street to a few tunes this afternoon for some excersise.  That would probably help with the gloomies...so if you see an old lady, beebooping down the street with one arm just say "there goes old Bets" and wave Hugs, Momma Bets

Morning Mama Bets - ah yes the loomy gloomies as I call them get on my nerves but from time to time they come and I can recognize them better now and I lean on those who know and support and encourage me even when I don't wanna get outta da bed.  my amazing support system for sure!!! I am glad to hear you are sticking with PT and things are and will keep getting better and better. I know we are the same I would rather grin and bear it then ask for help but you know what that was the old Kat. I now realize there is NOTHING wrong with others helping me as long I set boundaries and draw a line in the sand. Yes! Music is a daily must I don't care what I'm doing or where I am I always have music with me. And, this whole "old lady" thing? You've GOT to be kiddin' me right? Old is 100 and falling apart. Shake what God gave you and take that walk today. But, don't JUST walk. Take your music, look at your surroundings, take in the Fall air, the changing/falling leaves, how it feels to be in nature, how the houses are decorated, how it feels to "walk" away from all that matters even if but a short time....trust me it'll be a walk to remember. Each one for me is different. I find something "new" every day. Smile its something beautiful so you ought to use it.

Good Morning!!!!!!!!  It sure is beautiful out there today with all of the much needed rain.  Sure does feel like fall.  I am up, had some coffee, working on some more, busy with things at work & being productive.  Definitely in a better frame of mind today.  Sat and evaluated some of the things that are causing me anxiety & stress and worked through them, took some me time last night, went to the gym and had a great workout.  Hope everyone has a wonderful day!!!!!

Good pm - Its FINALLY raining here and I am LOVING it! Got the windows open, music playing, candles lit and its just grand! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE rain. Did I mention I love rain? Oh well, I LOVE rain! LOL ....ya know something evaluating....I'm doing that very thing honestly. I have realized my plate is not only a bit full but things were starting to overflow and fall off. Cannot have that. I walked 2 miles last pm and WILL get it in this pm rain or not. Its a commitment thing for me. Nothing like a little encouragement to move my butt FASTER!

Good evening my darlings, & a lovely pm it is!  I'll have you know that today was ME day, & what a shocker too.  I am no longer blonde!!  I am now dark & sultry!  Got my hair done, my nails done, & as soon as dinner is over with, I expect to toodle on over to Wally World for some things I need for this weekend.  We're going to the Farm on Friday afternoon, after Mike's dr appts, then that evening I'll be decked out in my black velvet ****tail dress with the matching jacket with really long fringe.  I have my follow-me-home shoes, also black velvet with sparklies on the toes & really high heels.  I have my luscious bling-bling black onyx & diamond necklace, earrings & bracelet.  My makeup will be smouldering, my hair shimmering & I intend to dance the night away with my handsome hubby. Then on Saturday we're all going to the Irish Pub in Old Town Culpeper for a Halloween party...something we haven't been to in YEARS!!!  I shall be Maid Marian & Mike will be a dashing knight...he just doesn't know it yet...LOL! I'm still up to my eyeballs in stuff, but I really, really miss you guys & just had to steal some time to come in & say howdy & check in.  Things will calm down more & get back to normal after the 1st weekend in Nov, when we get back from NC.  Just know that I think of ya'll everyday & wonder how you're doing.  You are missed, for sure!!!

Hugs!
Ann

Ann dear!! I'm so happy to log on and see a message from you. I went 'dark' a few years ago from a very light blonde and I love it.  So you have a very seductive weekend planned. I have heard high heels called many things but follow-me-home shoes is a new one for this ol girl!  You must take photos of Friday and Saturday's outfits.  love ya
