Blessings Basket

Good morning everyone.  I would like to add a thread for a "blessings basket".  If anyone has anything they would like to add to the “basket” feel free to share.  It’s my way of recognizing the special people in my life who may need a little assistance from time to time.

 

 

Today I send out a special blessing request for a close family friend who is scheduled for lap-band surgery today.  Unfortunately she is struggling through a family issue that may prevent her from going for surgery today, if ever.  I hope that she will find strength in herself to move forward.

 

Good am - this is sure to be another wonderful post. I thank you greatly and am glad you are here to share your journey and yourself with us.  Today I send a special blessing request for one of my best connections who has been struggling with his son and his son's behavior. He's finally been able to make a bit of a break through with him and what has been revealed is VERY hard for him to take but we are arming ourselves and his son with knowledge and involving every aspect we can to try and work through all this. His son is 16 and is very remarkable and has a lot going for him. We hope that he can see the negatives he's placing in his life and allow us to help turn things around so that he might forge into his future and become more successful than we can imagine. God please give him and us strength, courage and guidance to break free of what binds him.

Good morning!!  I would like to ask for special blessings for a close friend of mine who is struggling with some addiction issues.  May this person find the strength they need to conquer this evil.

Please add my own son, Matt to the basket.  I ask that he be given the courage to keep reaching for his place in this world.  I also ask to add my mother, Bettye, who is in  a nursing home in OK with Alzheimers.  Actually, maybe I should ammend that.  Mom's doing fine where she is & living in her own little world.  Perhaps the blessing request should be for those of us in the family that have to watch what's happening to her & find the strength to accept that our Mother will never be who she was before. 

Id like to ask a special blessing for a good friend that is struggling in relationships at home and in life in general. Prayers for strength and wisdom to get thru this tough time Thanks
