ITS TUESDAY TUESDAY!!!!

Morning all, How are you doing this am? Its another beautiful day we've been blessed to rise into. I have been reading some posts here and on other forums and it seems that some of us are facing some uphill climbs. I want you to know that your family/friends here have a shoulder to lend for you to lean on and that althought we may not have all the answers we can try our best to help, support and encourage you. I hope that you realize that you are just one person and no matter your situation you cannot possibly do everything alone/on your own. Take it from ME someone who used to refuse to ask for help and when offered I really took issue with accepting it. However, over the last 10 months or so maybe even longer I've really come to realize that I need to seek help, support and encouragement even when I don't think I need or want it. In return, I offer up the same. I hope that you will heed these words and know that there is a place you can come to and know that we'll try out best.  My buggas have not changed with the time change and have been up early these last few mornings. Luckily, I'm up anyway so its been an interesting few mornings. Its already been a busy week. I had an appointment yesterday and the Sick Fairy decided Bronchitis would be my gift!!! But, no fear I've got meds and I'm kickin' her butt!!! Today is another appointment. This one is quite a bit more serious and I'd like to ask for prayers on this please. Thanks in advance. Both buggas will be home today as its voting day here and so school is out. Trey will be here with them so it all works out great. I'm gonna take my book along with me, the 4th in the series of Donna VanLiere's Christmas books, The Christmas Promise. Its really been a great read and I'm sure to fini**** today.  Before I go I wanted to put a quote from my daily calendar here for ALL of us no matter our struggles. Jesus knows how you feel--hurt, scared, alone--and He's always with you to wrap you in His comfort blanket of love. I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go. Genesis 28:15  Have a WONDERFUL Tuesday!!!

Happy Tuesday to you too.............. Yesterday turned out to be an off day for me, but thanks to my friends here (thanks Jackie, Donna Mae and Nat), I pulled through.  Between the pain meds, the anaesthesia (sp) still coming out (rememebr, I had a double dose), my family thinking tht they are really funny (ok...I'll give them that...THEY ARE!) the emotional tole surgery takes and the shear boredom of just sitting around with not much to do I was off kilter. But, I have something to look forward to today, so I think that today will be a better day. Pain wise, I feel pretty good.  I've taken the pain pills only when I want to get comfy enough to sleep.  But, all other times I just have the feeling that I've done too many ab crunches or sat on my behind for too long. Thanks for the daily quote.................I needed that one yesterday. Enjoy your day!  And get better!  That crude can be a bear.

Good morning...well, it is supposed to be a cooool one here today with some strong winds.  What happened to the gentle fall?  We slipped from summer right into winter!!!  Went into my PT yesterday and got a long lecture.....they could tell I have been overusing my arm cause my muscles are regressing.  Oops.    I must have overdid it this weekend with the driving and lifting my grandson,...but I couldn't resist... I thought I felt better and could slip off the old sling.  NOT.  Back to the basics again..  Today I have more pain than I have had since the surgery.  Not good.  Back to PT tomorrow.   I know what ya mean, Kat with leaning on others.  This is a support group...good or bad.  We are a family and if someone needs a lift, we are here.  I love these people and want to know when they are down so I can put out a special prayer for them.  We all have good and bad days.  The bad days are hard because in our "past" we would turn to food for comfort..hopefully we will turn to our new family now.  That is what support is for.   Hope everyone has a wonderful day.  Stay warm...drink some protein hot chocolate...make out a Christmas list...even it you can't fulfill it...it does your heart good to know that you would if you could.  Remember the reason for the season and don't get bogged down with all the comercial junk.   Hugs, Momma Mother Clucker

Its been drizzling/raining here for about an hour. I love the rain! The wind was pretty wild most of the pm into this am (I was up ) Sorry bout your arm sweetie & I know you loved lifting on your lil' bugga but you gotta get better so you can keep lifting on him and giving great big hugs and such.  You are right sweetie and its important to emphasize that no matter the fight we are here. Bad days are yucky for sure but it helps when others are around to lean on. LOVE your last paragraph. This year its TRULY back to the REAL meaning of Christmas for us. You see we've been afforded the best gift of all and that is TIME. I plan to use it wisely.  Love ya.....

Good Morning beautiful lady!!!!!!  You are in my thoughts & prayers today & always. So I got some rest last night and am feeling way better today.  Not too much on the agenda.  I do have a few little errands to run but other than that things are pretty low key for the next couple of days. Hope everyone has a blessed & wonderful day!  Love you.
