Hello All Long time no talk on here anyhow, been busy, life, ya know.... I have a question, I have been having some issues with certain foods, like some soups, ketchup, ****tail sauce, mustard. Is it the acid? or do I have the beginging of an ulcer? I know that noone is a doctor on here, but with no insurance right now, this is my best bet for now. Please help. And thank you. Oh, Please pray for Bill and all of us...he is going through a hard time, we just found out his Mom has stage 3 lung cancer, and has maybe 6 months to live. She also has Congestive heart failure, and Pulmonary edema, and fibrosis. Thank you again.

Good am, Bill's mom and you/your family have been added to my prayers. I hope God comforts your family in this time of worry and sadness and that He lifts your spirits. I know that you don't have insurance at this time but you might call your surgeon's office and ask to speak with him/her or the nurse and ask for their suggestions. If its a burning sensation like heart burn or what have you it could be a few different things. In the meantime without seeing a doctor you might back away from acidic type items and see if that helps you. All best and hope you get to feeling better.

Hi Sweetie....Could be acid but like Nat and Kat said, could be alot of things and really needs to be addressed by a doctor.   I am so sorry to hear about Bill's Mom...Your family has been added to my thoughts and prayers.  It will be a very hard 6 months to go through but make every minute count and make many memories.  Life is too short and we all need to understand that and live it as if it is our last.   Hugs, Betsy

Thank you All for everything. I will be at home full time taking care of his Mom, while he brings home the bacon, so to speak, lol. As for the things that follow those foods, will its the taste of acid burning in my throat after I eat it. As well as a need to throw up. I have cut them out now, I will call the Dr Hutcher's office as soon as I get another moment to myself. I thank you all...You are always the best. And Nat, I will call you later today, as I am headed out now to the hospital. She wont eat for the nurses, only for I or Bill, and she is too weak to feed herself. Again thanks...... Love you all.....

I have the same advice as the others, talk to your surgeon. Wanted to let you know that you & yours are in my thoughts & prayers.

Steph, Sorry to hear about the hard times,...again. You guys must be something special to have the curve balls that get thrown your way. Acid and urge to barf, seems like Dr. Hutcher's office always had be start with getting Protonix.  If that didn't work, then we'd got to another level, which was a nausea pill I haven't needed for awhile. I'd try some over-the-counter protonix for 2 weeks and see if things settle down since insurance and co-pays for a prescription something kinda solution isn't a factor, if I read your comment correctly.

Hello Joe And yes, insurance is an issue right now. I have protonix here, that I have been taking for 3 days, plus stopping the acid type foods. Thank you for the encourging words. Yes, we do get alot of curve balls. You would be surprised. Thanks again, to everyone and you. Bless you....

I wish I could offer some advice regarding the food, but I have no idea.  I hope you are able to get it resolved, and soon. As far as Bill's Mom...I am so sorry.  Both of my parents are fighting cancers, and I know how difficult it can be.  You, Bill and his Mom are in my thoughts and prayers. Cindy
