My Plastic Surgery Follow-Up

Well, yesterday I went up to Fairfax for my follow-up.  I took 1/2 of a percocet for the drive up - just to take the edge off.  But, overall, I felt great.  SO much better than I had expected. So, I get in there and they are all surprised by how well I am doing.  They could not belive that I had had the LBL and BL surgery, because I was walking around without any real problems.  In fact, Dr. Krieger reminded me that i had just had major surgery (I know!).  I think they gave me the blood of an 18 year old during the transfusions - haha. We had a good laugh over my decapitated tattoo (thanks Dr. K!) and he looked at everything and said that I looked really good.  So, I ask...how long until I get bling?  I mean, come on...I LOVE to sparkle (heck even my new motocycle helmet has bling on it - hehe).  He says in a few months and even tells me to bring it to him and he will put it in.  How cool is that?????  He's awesome, but I suspect it's more to make sure that his work does not get ruined as he does not do body piercing by trade. So, he goes to help me off of the table, and I basically hop off (slowly, but I'm good...thanks!) and he just stands there shaking his head.  As I was leaving, he reminds me that I don;t have to run off.  Can't help it...... Saw Nat there (Hey, Nat!) . That's it in a nutshell - all went very well.   Off to look at new jewlery!!!!!

Hey Jill, Glad to hear you're doing so well....talked to Nat yesterday too...she's not as bouncy as you but she's certainly enjoying her new look.   Can't wait to see Dr K's work...well not literally.  Hope to see you at the conference if not before. Take care, Pat
