Weight going up

It's been almost a month now with no weight loss. My hunger is back with a vengence. I'm always tired even with a full nights sleep (8 hours). I'm building some muscle on my "trim rider" since I can now do 350 reps on it without killing myself. I hate being a whiner and I hate being stuck in the 230's. I go as low as 232 lbs. and as high as 238, but I can't get below 232 lbs. I'm stuck on "no sugar added fudgecicles" and Planters trail mix. My blood work shows everything is good, but I fell like I am never going to loss anymore weight. Forgive me for acting like such a wimp.

(((((HUGS))))) You are NOT a wimp! Stalls during our journeys are annoying but very common and happens to us all. Its time to re-evaluate your eating, drinking & exercise habits. Change it up! Push the protein and liquids for sure, add new & different foods and I would consult your nutritionist for tips & tricks and constructive feedback on what things you can do to get your metabolism moving again. Have hope & faith and do NOT give in!!! All best...and trust in the Lord ....the scale will move!

You are so not a wimp. And where else can you whine and folks don't mind ?  We have all been where you are. Like Kat said-change up what you are eating, try upping your cals and protein. Have you checked out the July 2007 surgery board? I  am on the June board and I find that we hit the same highs and  lows around the same time.---Yes I strayed from our home here!!!

Uummm........normal.  Yep! After I hit 6 months, I would lose 2-3 pounds on Monday, and then play the up 1 down 1 game for a week and then lose 2 - 3 pounds.  It was steady, but very nerve racking. I recommend that you go to fitday.com....track your weight and what you are eating just to make sure that you actually are hitting the high protein marks and to make sure that you aren't accidently over doing it. At the point you are at, you really should be at 100 grams of protein.  Are you getting at least that much?  How many carbs are you taking in?  I found while losing that if I left carbs at under 50, it really helped me along.  Some people here will tell you closer to 25 or 30.  For me, that was too low.  But try it and see how it works. I also recommend that you change up your workout.  Your muscles need to be challeneged, and while it sounds like you have a good workout on track already, if your body is use to doing the same movements then after a while it is not as effective. For me, I have a schedule that I rotate through where 1 -2 days a week I do the ellipticle, 1 -2 days I run, 2 days of sculpting, 1 day with personal trainer, plus on my days off I bike, hike, walk....constantly moving.  So, take a loot at your workout and shee how you could change it up a bit. Then...look at your water intake.  I drink over 100 ounces of water and it helps me.  Are you getting in 64 ounces of water?  Can you increase it by 2 glasses? Lastly....are you taking in too my artificial sweetener?  That was one area my personal trainer had me look at....how much Crystal Light was I drinking.  The body will retain some water because of it, so look at that. It's all trial and error................ Good luck!

Michael-

I'll add in my "your normal" note to the chorus you've already received. I will note though that you may want to check that Planter trail mix. I know the kind I got hooked on was very high in calories and fat....may want to scale back on that as well as some of the other suggestions the other posters gave.

You'll keep losing....albeit a bit slower probably.
