Are there any "get togethers" in the Portsmouth area?

Especially ones that are NOT in a restaurant? It is such a waste for me- I am only 3 months out   :) If not may I suggest maybe a Star bucks or maybe Old Town bakery/cafe they serve an affordable ala carte menu .  Anyone?
