MEET AND GREETS !!! VA BEACH

Hello Everyone ! I am thinking about putting together a meet and greet the first weekend of December . To be held in the Va Beach - Hampton Roads area . I am also contimplating putting one together for NOVA .. Why ? Well I am trying to raise interest in the conference and get people signed up . We are so excited to be able to bring this to everyone ... and it is going to be huge .., I just do not want anyone to miss out ! So .. if you are interested in coming to a meet in greet in any area .. would you let me know . If you are busy .. as I know it is the Christma season and you all are busy .. But it can happen if you all want it too .. and I would love to see all of my Va Beach and Nova WLS Family before the year ends . So .. What dates are you looking at for coming here in Dec? I know that many of the military Commands have their holiday parties scheduled for the weekends up to the 15th - which may impact some of the attendence. Are you looking at an evening out - dinner and dancing - or a luncheon? This may impact our ability to go someplace, because many places are filling up due to holiday get togethers. Plus, several of the support groups have their holiday parties coordinated as well. Just something to consider.....................

I have been talking to JoAnn and I may just try to coordinate a luncheon .. what do you think . Time is so sparing at this place in the year .. But never too busy for friends ... Not sure what to do , if only a handful want to get together ..then I am not set on what to do ... I will keep a look at the calender .. and see what I come up with .. What dates work for you ? Nat

WOW! Just not sure. I'm looking at the 1st of Dec, but even that weekend is booking up fast. The weekend sof the 8th and the 15th are definate no go's for me because we have Command Christmas Party, a cookie exchange, baking and my son and his wife are coming in. PLUS....I'm visiting Jackie after her surgery, visiting Dr. K, (WHEW!) and a Command kids party (I know there is something else, but cannot think what it is right now). Plus....holiday stuff....... A lunch would be great, but would hate for you to come all the way here for lunch, ya know? Ok...school? What school? Whatcha doing?????? Let me know what you decide....................

Sounds fun but sadly I have no time to do it this year - got plans for that first weekend and then the second weekend I have a ton to do to complete all my christmas stuff before I have surgery on the Monday........ As for the conference - I am all booked and will see you there! Hope you are doing good after your recent surgery! Jackie

Oh that is right .. you are having surgery that week .. Awesome ... I know .. time is going to be tough .. like I told Jill , I may not even do it .. so busy myslelf .. I have School the first week of December .. and finals mid month .. so not sure what to do .. I just hate not seeing all my friends before the holidays .. Are you going to any of the Christmas parties for the support groups ? Nat

Yes, I am going to Dr Halmi's on the 6th Dec and our support group's on the 3rd Wednesday but I won't be doing much for that one as it will be too soon since my surgery... .. plus Bill is on travel before my surgery and after my surgery......... so it is all left to me to organize Christmas.... Let me know about the dates...I will see what I can do. It's not looking so good for the conference as I have a work trip and an Army dinner the same week. We'll see what happens though...If I am able to go it will probably be a kinda last minute thing... Thanks for being such a great organizer! Christine
