ITS MARVELOUS MONDAY!!!
Good am all!!
How are ya'll doing this fine Monday morn? Me? I'm up, played in the bubbles and I'm stopping by to say "helllllooo, good morn, wakey wakey, shake your tooooshie, scoot your boooootaaaeeeee and get up!" So, are YOU up? You smiling yet? Come on dig real deep, drag your behind to the mirror, take a looksie and ok so your hair is a mess and you got crusties in your eyes but look then move closer, that's it closer, closer, THAT'S IT! Now feel those lips moving (smack, smack) and then shine those pearly whites brightly. Now, now don't blind yourself!!! HA!
So, how was your weekend? Do anything fun? Interesting? Liberating? Did you fine some great deals? Get in some "me" time? Read something great? Saw something worth mentioning to others? For us, it was certainly a bit busier than expected but that is what made it better. Friday we rented some movies. The Christmas Blessing, Wild Hogs & What Women Want which I have seen a bunch of times but love that movie. The CB was just wonderful. I cannot WAIT for them to make 3 & 4 of the series. I truly suggest for holidays movies that you add The Christmas Shoes & The Christmas Blessing to your "watch" list. Sat was busy with a few errands. Kayla & I went to the library and she got her own library card and even checked out her own books by herself with the automated system. Between her & I we got 12 and 16 books. She picked some out for her sister too. Later, we went and had mani's and I had clear put on since I'm having surgery this pm. Saw my mom and then my sis and her bf's kids came in. We went to lunch afterward and then saw Fred Claus. Sure was a nice distraction for me. The pm it was back home and cleaning, laundry and a few little things. Sunday was real relaxing but my mood was a bit off in the am. No matter it improved throughout the day with some movies, reading, time with the buggas and a few phone calls.
I hope everyone has a wonderful day, week and Happy Thanksgiving!!! In what ever you do remember to take care of yourself, give thanks to the Lord for all we're blessed with, smile every chance you get, give to others when and where you can. The BEST gift we're given is the gift of time. So, remember to use it wisely. Call that someone you've been meaning to, write that message, note or letter, reach out to someone and let them know you love, care and are thinking of them. Ya'll are in my thoughts & prayers and know that I will be MIA for a bit but I'll return with gusto, joy and get back to my everyday post it!

Oh btw, I think ya'll are spiffy & have a little request - if ya'll would please pray for me today and this week. Thanks!!!

Joe, they are two movies - Wild Hogs is a really funny movie and I laughed my ass off at that one - it stars John Travolta, Martin Lawrence and some other good and funny actors whose name I can't remember right now - What Every Woman Wants was funny but I did not find it as funny as Wild Hogs - it stars Mel Gibson and Helen Hunt - if I remember correctly....

Good am Joe! What Jackie said! What Women Want is Helen Hunt & Mel Gibson and is pretty funny. I really love it for the music and dancing Mel does to Frank (Sinatra). Its cute. Wild Hogs I've seen bits and pieces of since we had kids around a lot this weekend. But, its Tim Allen, John Travolta, Martin Lawrence and William H. Macy (so amazing to me is WH Macy). Its bout four weekend-warrior friends who decide to rev up their ho-hum suburban lives with a cross-country motorcycle adventure. Seriously its FUNNY! Thanks for the prayers! They are truly appreciated. I'll be GREAT! Have a fantastic day!

Good am Melinda!! LOL! Sweetie I am up usually bout 5:30 am or so EVERY day. Sleeping late is 6 or so. I love to keep busy with chores and family/friends and staying on the go doesn't let me think too long. Thanks for the prayers! They are greatly appreciated! I'm having surgery to get my LIFE back. In a nutshell, I've been dealing with some health stuff for just over 2 years and finally after meds, tests, waiting and pushing my docs we are doing something about it. Don't worry! I'm going to be fine and bouncing off the walls making you crazy with all sorts of activities after this. Maybe I'll enlist you to come hang out and party with us. I love that I'm more active than ever! The buggas thank me and my body thanks me. I hope you have a VERY Happy Thanksgiving! I'll be back to posting hopefully shortly. All best...thanks again!
