Hello, well wishes, wedding & honeymoon

Alright I believe I am finally back to the real world & ready to function again.  After returning from the honeymoon we didn't have the computer because the girlies had it and my bday was Monday so we were busy celebrating but now it is back to the real world. I have been trying to catch up on the board but I missed a lot so it is overwhelming.  I am going to cheat here & say Hi to the new members, I can't wait to get to know you, congrats on those with new surgery dates, we are here to help you prepare, congrats on those with weight loss wows, Jill your loss has been fabulous & you should be so proud.  And Happy Thanksgiving to all, may you enjoy the holidays with your loved ones, have much to be thankful for & remember those that are no longer with us, with love & peace. So the wedding was wonderful.  There of course were a few pesky problems, most of which I wasn't aware of til later but things went off smoothly.  It was beautiful and we had such a wonderful time.  The ceremony was wonderful.  My hubby & I wrote our own vows & surprised each other and they were absolutely wonderful.  I had done some research on ceremonies and we added some special words about our new family, I said some special vows to my girlies & I gave them both rings also.  I wanted them to realize that I did not just marry their father, but them also, I got a great package deal there.  The dancing was wonderful, got to share with lots of friends & family, food was great, cake was yummy, and it was all perfect.  My day as a princess was perfect. Then we left & started our honeymoon.  My hubby surprised me with a wonderful wedding night.  We had planned on just coming home Saturday night & then leaving on Sunday for the Poconos, but he didn't feel that was appropriate so he made other arrangements.  We stayed at the Black Horse Inn (a beautiful b&b) in Warrenton for the night.  It was gorgeous, we had a beautiful room, full on antiques, a canopy bed, claw foot tub, etc.  He had a dozen yellow roses, my favorite waiting for me, petals on the bed, champagne, cookies, chocolates, cashews, etc. to nibble on (he had help from his sister for all of this).  It was all so gorgeous and a dream come true for me.  I have always dreamed of having a man who loved me so much he would give me the most romantic night & he did.  So Sunday after waking up and enjoying a wonderful breakfast, we spent some time with our girlies before we left & then it was off to the Poconos, after a long trip due to a late start, some accidents, and a bit of car trouble we finally made it.  I fully recommend if you are looking for a romantic trip go to a Caesars resort in the Poconos, our room was gorgeous, round bed, heart shaped jacuzzi tub, shower for two, with a pool & fireplace in suite.  The resort was beautiful, food was devine, they had a social director so there were some great activities to do outside the room, if you wanted.  We did take a chance to do a few things, we had massages, went horseback riding, were supposed to have a carriage ride but it got rained out, went to a shooting range, visited some senic places around town, did some shopping at the nearby outlet mall.  We took the time to relax, didn't worry about schedules or anything and had an absolutely wonderful trip.  So heres a funny surgery moment, as we were relaxing in the tub one evening, and the bubbles all melted away I had a gross skin moment.  I was disgusted to find out that the extra skin on my tummy likes to float in the water.  I am sitting there relaxing & there I see two lovely lumps of skin just floating up from my belly.  I believe that I may have to start researching & saving for a tummy tuck.  Friday it was time to come home and we both pouted all the way.  I do have some pics and will be posting soon. We spent most of the weekend just relaxing at home.  Monday was my bday so we celebrated with my different family members Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.  My hubby got me an ipod with arm band so I can have my tunes at the gym.  Plan to get back into the routine starting next week.  I hope everyone has a wonderful Holiday!!!!

So glad to hear you're home safe and getting back into the swing of things.  You totally made me laugh about your skin moment. You're beautiful no matter what! :-)

Funny isn't it.  Thanks for the compliments.  We ended up out of town again this week, house sitting for Matt's sister which is why I haven't contacted you about getting together this week.  I believe we are planning on going to Dr. A's party so I will see you there.

That will be great!  If not, I'm sure we can figure something out soon....the holidays can make schedules crazy!  Best to you and hope to see you soon.
