Oh My Word A WOW

3:00am the alarm went off out the bed I was and dressed and on my way to penny's for the 4am doors to open to get my disney snow globe :) my mom & dad started the tradition years ago and I had never gotten to go well I did this year it was fun to go un tili I got to walmart. I have never seen so many crazy people in all my life and of course I was in there w/ them lol Im tring to picjk up a few small gifts just to say I had been out on Black Friday. Well went to get in line and ws like Whatttttttttt the heckkkkkkkkk and I didnt use that nice of a word when I was standing in the back of the baby dept. I stood and stood and nobody was movong . So I said ok well Im going anotherroute thinking I could get closer, then a cousin from Harrisonburg calls an says I cant find this cd over here can you look at our Walmart sure I said I went to the eletronics OMG there were people flying over people  pushing an shoving buggys going one  way peopl going the other I had been knocked n shoved I swung my buggy around to this lady and said to her if you ram me one more darn time you gonna be peeling that thing off your back there is nothing in this store that is worth all this crazyness. Shes was like I want a dvd player well lady wait your turn. I was livid. Well long story short I never got in to the electronic dept for the cd and I left my buggy sit and as I was leaving a gentlemen said to me have a nice day I said I was having a great morning until I came here to this mad house.  People you need to slow down and  Remember the meaning of  CHRISTMAS its not the buying and spending its not this crasiness this is not what it is supposed to be about it is about Jesus Christs birth for heaven sake lets get the picture herestop all this fighting and stupity in the stores Inow know why I keep my butt in the bed on Black Friday. But I got my snow globes lol and that was my goal and I did IT!! Hope you all have a safe and warm weekend and just stop and remember the true meaning of Christmas. Lets teach the children of tommorrow what it is all about. Because the children of today its to late there all money hngry lol I seen that first hand this morning , lord so many screaming kids mommy mommy buy me this and that an throwin tantrums right in the stores lol I thought Id die laughing.   

This is precisely the reason I don't join in the madhouse on Black Friday!! I don't really like shopping and I really really hate it when it is crowded like that! I don't have th patience for it and I do not want anything that badly that I will do this - thank goodness for the Internet is all I can say! Sometimes I may pay more but I think my time is better spent! Jackie

You are so right the internet is a blessing at times, but Im buying the nephew a few practical gifts this yr and thats it I feel we need  to have a sit down meal w/ the family and if they cant do that to bad. Oh I dont have to worry about it I forgot my brother is taking my mother out of town to spite me hes taking her the sunday before xmas and they wont return until the following weekend so Ill be free this xmas sounds like Gene and I need to make some more together plans : ) maybe to NY lol.

Good morning Melinda - I completely agree with you about the TRUE meaning of Christmas. I refuse to go shopping today and rush around regardless of what ever the gift may be. I won't go into specifics but in my very own family I can clearly see that there are some who will buy things to pacify their kids every whim/request and to show others a $$ figure yet cannot even pay their necessary bills. Its unfortunate because it teaches their kids to beg for more and more and never teaching them the concept of save and earn. It really breaks the holiday spirit when people become nasty and irate and selfish/greedy. Its sad when there is so much pushing and shoving and such that we forget that some would give up every materialistic piece they own just to have a moment, a day, TIME with those we love whether they are just a state away, across the country, overseas or in Heaven. I'm VERY happy your got your snow globes and can understand your wanting to carry on a family tradition. Glad you braved out the crowds of people and truly hope you are unscratched! You are so so right  Kat  kids these days all they want is more more more , and they have no clue the meaning of a 1.00 I have a 19 yr old like that but Im the blame for that for spoiling him and I say to parent for God sake make them work young teach them how to save make them earn that game or toy whatever it is they want because take it from me first hand if you dont it will come back and bite you square in the a-- my son told me a few months back when I ask him why he quit a job (he lives w/ my mom) also might explain some of my stress, he told me because he didnt have to he didnt like the job I said TOUGH shi- get your a-- and get a job there are alot of people who dont like there jobs or working but they have to do what they have to do to survive and  they have responsiability's. If you had been out working and helping your granny she might have been able to keep this house. But he has that I dont care attitude, an mymom is like leave him alone he has his condition an off his meds, ill be fine. Im like no Im not an no you arent going to be fine. We spoiled him and now look. Just  what was going on out there this morning I was like take me out of here. But anyway you dont wanna  here all that, I did get my globes unscratchedlol otherwise Id be calling for bail you know me I dont take no shi-. But you gotta love me .  You have a great day yourself, hope your feeling better.  

Thanks! I'm feeling better. Now, its uping my protein/food, fluids and exercise and getting back into the swing of things. I'm gonna head out for about a mile walk and see how I do. Otherwise, I'm gonna be working on chores after a nice week off.

So glad you were able to get your globe Melinda.  I was up and out this a.m. also but was not able to get the items I wanted.  It was a mad house at Best Buy and the people for the most part were not friendly at all.

Let meknow if there is anything I can go looking for you Im headed back into town in a lil to meet my lil lady's for lunch Ill be glad to try for you.

Well I had no wait to get my car inspected this morning - guess everyone was at the stores. Works for me. Joe

Your funny Joe lol at least you got your car inspected, heck I just got mine done on Monday I had been driving around for 18 days on a dead one it died end of Oct. the b/f said to me last Fri do you know your car is dead I said no its not I just got the tags he said well the inspection is dead! I said well hell lol, so he got it done for me Monday. Praise the Lord I didnt get pulled over. Have a great day.
