Home from Hospital

I arrived home yesterday . I have been pretty out of it , as I am on some pretty heavy pain meds .  Well .. I have another infection .. it goes to prove my immune system really has shut down . For those that do not know , I have adrenal insufficieny .. and have a compromised immune system . For ths most past the surgeries have all been a success .. but infection seems to haunt me .  I am on a great antibiotic . The doctor cut a faily large hole in my arm inscision to let it drain . It is still pretty swollen .. but it is draining . He says I have an infected seroma ...  I want to thank JoAnn for posting and letting my WLS family know .. and for her company she kept on the phone for me ..  Thank you to Jill K for also keeping me occupied  on the phone . I always love talking to you!!  Thank you Joe Bear for calling me too .. It was great to hear your voice .. you are such a sweet man .  Thanks to all of you for your prayers, phone calls and your love . You all mean so much to me .. and you truly are my family .  Well I am off to take more pain meds .. and back to bed . Enjoy the Sunday .. and again ..  Thank you !  Natalie

Glad you are home....now get some rest!!!!!!

I am glad you are home and on the road to yet another recovery. I will keep you in my prayers that this one is a speedy one. Take care and get lots of rest.

Good to see you out of the hospital, take your meds and off to  bed to get plenty rest to fight off those demons. Hope you feel better soon.

Baby doll...What is Momma gonna do with you?????  Those infections are no fun so enough is enough.  You are way toooo beautiful now so stop already.    Just get plenty of rest, drink lots of protein, water, and bask in all the love you have around you.  I didn't know about this until yesterday...I am so sorry or I would have called.  I will try to call you laterr today.  I love you. I was in West VA for Thanksgiving but sorry to hear you are having more issues. If I was you, I would not have any more surgeries until you are sure your body can heal effectively -   it sounds like it is trying to tell you something! Hope your arms gets better soon - that is my next surgery in 2 weeks........... Jackie

 .. Well there is something to be said for my journey in plastics being over . I have nothing  else to do ps wise . I have completed my journey on my Plastics and could not be happier One thing that is different than most , is my adrenal issues ...and I have always know it going into all of this . Is something I take very seriously and prepare for . But the best preparation can even lead to this .. so I take it and roll with it .. 

I think you are very daring, with your adrenal issues, to have even gone ahead  but only someone who has had Bariatric surgery can understand the desire to have a normal body again - one that is so strong that you will put yourself through several extra surgeries to accompli****!
