HAPPY HAPPY HUMP DAY!!!! (WEDNESDAY)
Good am all,
We're 1/2 way through the week & its the beginning of another beautiful yet chillier am here. Yesterday was surely a bit warmer. Not complaining because it made getting out in nature a lot more interesting but wow for all who are dealing with the sickies (sinuses, colds, flu). It was surely a nice day out. It got quite a bit colder last pm which I enjoyed. I managed to accomplish some items on my to do list while others slipped between the cracks but I'll take what I can get right now. Thanks for all the thoughts, prayers & private messages lately. They mean so much. I really enjoy the laughs and the heartfelt messages.
So, are you up? Moving around? Sippin on your favorite cuppa? Listening to music? The news? The buggas are up & at 'em - surprisingly Kayla was up first and Nora just now. They are laughing & playing its fun! Anyhow, what's your day like? Are you happy? Grumpy? Mad? Sad? Well, whatever your mood take things in stride and find the positives. I know, I know its easier said than done but it can be done but that we try is the point.
On today's agenda is chores, a couple errands, finishing up some projects & more of my "to do list." I'd really like to get in some nature time so I'll do that in the pm. I am also on the hunt for some specific Cmas items which I know will be easy to find its just getting them purchased and making the items I have in mind. Well, in whatever you day brings remember that you are blessed, loved, encouraged and special. Your smile & kindness can me that difference in someone's day. Your words & attitude can make or break your day. Remember to give things to the Lord and count your blessings. As an example yesterday a great guy here on the boards aunt, uncle & mom's home caught fire and not one of them was injured and I was replying that I was fussing at Nora for breaking some ornaments from our Cmas tree when in reality we could have nothing to break but as long as I have her, Kayla etc I'm blessed. So, things seem quite a bit different when there is loss than they do when you have them huh? Just a thought I wanted to pass along.
QUOTE FOR TODAY: Most people have minds like concrete: mixed up or permanently set. (Hmmmmm)
Have a GREAT Wednesday!

Good morning lovely lady!
It is much chillier here today too. As hard as I tried I could not stay awake for the Dancing with Stars finale. I saw Marie O get cut and that was it.
There is a great article on OH regarding SAD--seasonal affective disorder. I encourage all to check out this link. http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/amos/cmsID,11384/mode,cont ent/a,cms/
I'm taking it easy today as the cold is hurting my bones.
Be good to yourself and each other!

Morning Jen! I'm not a big TV fan so I haven't been keeping up with it but I understand Mel B is really doing great and changing things up. Good luck to all the participants really! Thanks for the link to the article. I am going to take a look for sure. Its tough on me in the winter months but with support & encouragement I'm actually doing well so far. Hope your day is great!

Well I am up and going. At work sipping on my coffee. Had a great evening but a rough night. My hubby and I wrapped presents & put them under the tree and such then it was time for bed. Well my cold is still lingering on and now I seem to be coughig some so of course I couldn't get to sleep. Ended up moving to the couch so I could prop myself up, got some sleep but it wasn't very restful. Hopefully my meds will start kicking in soon and I can get this cold gone.
Not sure what is on the agenda for today. Work of course, maybe getting my nails done, maybe some more shopping, we shall see.
Have a beautiful day!!!!
Morning Courtney! I certainly hope you get to feeling better. I'm in search of some Cmas spirit since honestly I'm not really feeling it good enough yet. So, I am hoping that by working on Cmas/holiday related projects I will get a little more motivated and happy. I'm going to listen to some upbeat Cmas albums & Christian music and lean on some connections for some support & hopefully I'm be feeling a bit more jolly! Enjoy & get well! Love ya!
