I may get flamed for this , but today is a day that I truly do not care . I see so many posting about their surgery dates , and where they are in their journies . But what I do not see is indvidual support for others on their sugery pages ... well wishes .. Congrats ... I posted earlier today for someone that was having surgery .. I posted it early this morning .. and there is barely a handful ... that have went in and replied or posted anything . I know that so far 35 people read my post .. Do I know this person .. Nope .. but I sent him wells wishes .. and some good vibes .. why .. I remember back 4 years ago when I came to this site .. and was greeted by many .. and some of you are still here .. and are still out there supporting people ... many of these same people went to my page .. and posted their well wishes to me .. Do you have any idea what this meant to me .. an Obese person .. with no friends .. no true WLS family yet .. OMG I was thrilled beyond words to know that pure strangers took time to tell me how proud they where of me .. to tell me they where praying for me . I know it is Christmas time .. Holidays , but I want you to really think about it .. it only takes a minute ... and it is so important in ones journey .. to see that they have someone that cares . I am not posting this to get a pat on the back . I could care less about that .. what I am trying to say is .. stop and remember those that are looking ahead to surgery .. to needing support .. I am not perfect at catching everyone's sugery date .. but I do try to give as much as I can .. If this touches you the wrong way .. or you think I am being mean .. I just want to ask you .. if this offends you .. why do you come to OH ? Support right ....? So there you have it . I care for you all .. but I am truly upset that these surgey pages are being left empty .. To those that took the time to go in and post .. Thank you ! Natalie

Not flaming you sweetie. A group of us did show Bill our support in his post from Monday. I hope to see VA Bill tomorrow at Portsmouth. For those who are lurking....come on out and join us. We welcome your input and would love to get to know you!!

Jen .. I hear what you are saying.. and it is appreciated. I was not pointing fingers . I was merely saying that 35 people looked at that post .. and only 3 people went to his page to post it .. I did not see 35 people post to yesterdays post . I just find it sad that we cannot take time to just stop in on the surgery page and leave an ever lasting remark . Do you know that to this day I still have all 100 messages that where left for me ? That inspired me so very much .. and if we can only do half of that .. Man how good it would feel . Again , I will say .. I was not pointing fingers .. only bringing to fruition that 35 people read my post and only a handful posted to his page ... I know many of you went out and posted to him .. that is awesome .. but these post get lost after so many days .. people do not always go back to find post after days gone by . But that surgey page is permenant .. and so very touching .. I am sure Bill will appreciate your well wishes . Nat

You all must see I was not pointing fingers .. as I said in the above responces to Jill and Jen .. 35 people read that post .. and only a handful went and posted to his page . The message board tends to get lost after so many days .. and as nice as you all where about leaving him a messge .. he may not see it .. but his surgery page he will see .. Forever .. as long as he keeps a profile on this site . My point is to get EVERYONE to see how important this page is .. and that it only takes a few minutes to do .. that is all I was trying to do here ..
