Looking to make friends in the Chester Colonial Heights area

Hello... My name is Rebekah (I also go by Becky), and I am very new to OH.  I live in Prince George and work in Chester.  I have RNY scheduled with Dr. Bautista on 1/10/08--and am in the process of all the pre-op testing.  I would love to make some new friends in the area.  I was not aware of the tri-cities support group at JRH--that is much more convenient than running to St. Marys!!! Hi Becky, If I can help you in anyway before or after you surgery please let me know, you can call with any questions or we can meet for lunch one day. I know you will be very happy with DR.Bautista he saved my life back in August of this year, I was in St. Francis hospital for week and they could not find anything wrong with me and I call Dr. B and over the phone he knew what was wrong and got me transfer to ST. Mary and that next morning did open surgery on me for and intestial Brockage very painful but I'm truly lucky to be alive he said a day or two more and I may have not been here. I had DR. Any Martin do my RNY but she left Virginia so now I see DR. B and he is so nice. The next support group meeting is Monday at JRH hope to see you there. Have a good weekend .. Jackie

Thanks Jackie!!   I am afraid that I may have a lot of questions.  My cousin just had surgery in Ohio on Monday and came home today as well.  I will try to make it to the support group meeting on Monday.  Thanks again...I am looking forward to meeting you!! Becky
