ENJOY! HAPPY FRIDAY ALL! Pre-Christmas Do you buy presents or make them? This year I've bought & made! I LOVE making some they are fun & last from year to year. When do you start Christmas shopping? I SAY I get started in early Fall (& I do most years) but this year I got started quite a bit later. Gotta say its fun though accomplishing things I didn't think I might. Who do you buy presents for? A wide variety of family & friends; I also give to others in need. Do you spend much time wrapping presents? Some time wrapping. I mostly wrap for the kids because I remember how much I LOVED tearing open wrapping paper when we were kids & the expressions on the buggas & other kids faces is sooooo darling. What do you like most about the Christmas season? The lights, festivities, closesness of family & friends & best of all marking the birth of the Lord & being reminded we are all here & blessed because of Him. Do you decorate outside your house? Yep, this year there are Candy Canes (red & white), 2 white trees w/ stars & garland. What about inside your house? Oh yes! There is the tree of course fully decorated, any Cmas cards we receive are put up on the walls surrounding the Cmas tree and other parts of the living room, there are holiday candles, handmade Cmas boots, balls hanging over door sills and various other things in the kitchen and throughout the house. This year what is most precious are the pictures the buggas have colored (& me) and we've cut them out and hung them on the walls. Do you listen to many Christmas Carols? I've been invited to a few; undecided whether I'll go; one is this pm Out and About Do you like seasonal Starbucks/other coffee place drinks? Not so much; I like my 7-11 coffee or homemade Do you go look at Christmas lights? Yes, I enjoy that very much. I love the buggas eyes lighting up (pun intended) & how beautiful and sometimes how tacky they are. We have a Tacky Lights Tour here of all the wacky tacky houses with cooky cmas lights. Do you go to Christmas celebrations that your town holds? At times; this is a HUGE town so we usually have parades & such. Do you go ice skating? Um that would be no Do you like to buy presents, or window shop? Both! Do you like to go to malls around the Christmas season? A few times as there are some good deals & I like window shopping in the malls not to mention that walking without getting too chilly. Do you go caroling? Haven't done this in years. Christmas Eve Do you cook a lot on Christmas Eve? Usually but this year our Cmas dinner is completely being down & paid for by an Angel so we're not only grateful but thankful. What is your Christmas Eve routine? Stockings get filled, cmas music playing all night, lights inside/out stay on all night, we watch Cmas movies all am/pm, have dinner, read, bugga**** the sack & presents are put under the tree then I TRY to get some rest. Do you read any special Christmas books? Not in particular other than Twas the Night Before Cmas Do you open presents on Christmas Eve? Usually just stockings Any other Christmas Eve traditions? A new one & that's family prayer time now that the buggas can both talk & understand for the most part prayers and saying them. Christmas! What time do you get up on Christmas? Ha! The buggas decided this. Does someone fill your stocking? I've had that happen :) Do you open presents or eat first? Open first then eat When do you eat the big Christmas meal? In the evening What is the typical Christmas meal? Turkey, ham, stuffing, yams, corn, a huge repeat of turkey day for the most part Any other traditions on Christmas Day? A few; sometimes traveling, sometimes family coming here, getting out in nature and making some calls for sure.

Depends on the work schedule & if we have the girlies or not.  Some of the things that may happen: a visit to my sis-in-laws, Christmas eve service, cookie delivery to some special people, time at home with one special gift for the girlies.
