Holiday Fitness Challenge - Dec 12th

WOW!  It's the 12th already....where is the time going????? I know I haven't posted the past few days - I'm fighting a cold/sinus infection - and just feel blah!  BUT....I've been doing some moving. On Monday,  I did 20 minutes on the ellipticle (and it kKILLED me!), yesterday I walked for 30 minutes and today I will be walking. What about you?  Are you letting the holidays get int the way of your goals and desires?  Well....DON'T!  whether you move or not, the holidays are still here (temporarily), so don't let them be an excuse for not taking care of yourself.   Beat the stastics that say we gain an average of 10 pounds during the holidays....step away from the cookie plate and move.  And just because you had WLS surgery does NOT mean that you are exempt...you too can gain weight (or not lose at all) during the holidays by not moving or using your tool properly. So..have a GREAT day!!!!!

Came back from a week at Nellis AFB with a cold- ICK!  But the good news is I was able to use the Nellis Fitness Center (really nice) so I still got in 4 days of exercise last week.  I gave into my cold and didn't exercise Monday but was back at the Sentara Hampton Health and Fitness Center yesterday. Are you coming to the support group meeting tonight at Sentara?  It's their holiday party and if it's anything like the summer party, I'm going to try to go -- give aways were nice.  I still have a certificate for a free massage I received at the summer party.

Hey.....I've been to Nellis.  It's not too bad of a base - kinda small, but ..... I am pondering going.  I don't feel well, so I was going to hang it up, but I really want to go....... So....I'm really not sure yet.
