I just wanted to get this out before the end of the year . Jill Dennis and I are planning on starting a Support Group for the Winchester area . There is a great need for it in that area . Jill and I have other WLS projects going on that we will announce after the first of the year . I am also going to be working to put together other support groups in NOVA, HAGERSTOWN AND FREDERICK . My wife and I are both planning to get surgery early 2008 in Winchester. I would be very interested in a Winchester support group. Also, has anyone had surgery with Dr. Wiedower. Thanks

I think that's the dr my sister is using. It's been a long time getting insurance approvals though and she doesn't have a date yet. If he is the one she's using, he apparently was trained in Hampton VA by the dr I used, Thomas Clark.

Hi, All Dr. Weidower is a by what I hear a great doctor who is performing GBS at Winchester Medical Center. There is a support group that meets at the hospital. I have a friend who had her surgery in August by Dr. Weidower and she is doing great! There is a great need for another WLS support group in this area. Natalie and I will keep you posted after the first of the year. We are both very excited to get this going!
