At home again
What you are experiencing is perfectly normal. This is all very new to you and you are in a situation that you haven't been in.
Hang in there....each day will get better and better. Let him help you, because one day you will be doing ALOT more than you thought you could ever do and you will be amazed.
One thing that helped me was to move around a little - a few minutes every hour or so. It really helps with the recovery.
As for your liquids, good idea asking the doc what he wants you to do. Getting in the liquids and proteins is the hardest thing in the beginning, but you will get there.
Take care of you.................

HI Lauren
Sorry to hear you are having a tough go of it right now. It will and does get better with each passing day. One thing I thought of to mention is...make sure you sip as much water as you can and walk as much as you can..that will help you move that gas out. That was the toughest for me too!!! Hang in there , this too shall pass.

Hey Lauren!
Congrats on being a big loser! Now the gas situation...no, u r not being a baby! It is rough! I had it for days. I don't recommend doing exactly what I did but you may want to scale it down a bit...You'll see why in a minute...My belly was so blown up and I was so uncomfortable 24/7. It wasn't really pain I just couldnt take the pressure etc. So...
I took gas ex, prune juice (lil bit mixed with water cause that stuff is NASTY! couldn't stomach much), stool softener and suppository. I didn't know where it was trapped but I wasn't missing a spot! LOL Woke up the next morning and it hadn't worked so I did it all again! By about 2 in the afternoon, EVERYTHING kicked in (at the same time I think LOL). But it worked! I felt like a new person! I'm sure you can imagine without me giving TMI...anyway, I would probably recommend that combo once and just be patient. You will be amazed at how much better you feel whrn that gas is gone
Good luck girl!
