Where do I find Protein Bullets?  What do they taste like? I need to find a way to get in an extra 15-20gr of protein other than the protein shakes that I'm getting tired of.  I'm still on soft foods and need the suplements.

Hi Bill,  GNC has some and you can also order them from www.profect.com.  Have you tried the Nectar protein?  I love that compared to the bullets.  The Nectar is 23 grams and 90 calories.  You can order that from www.bariatricchoice.com .  You can also access that website from Tink's profile.  Best of luck to you.  Let us know what you try and how you like things.

The Vitamin Shoppe also sells the New Whey brand of bullets (not as much variety of flavors as Profect though).  They have mixed reviews...I used to love them and have one every day, but my protein transfers lowered so my nut. told me I should switch to a different protein supplement. I use Unjury unflavored and mix with Crystal Light now....as long as I drink it from a bottle (like a water bottle) I'm fine...otherwise the smell gets me.  SO....the bullets are good for a temp or fast fix...but I'm not sure they're great for the main source. Check with your nut/dr. though.

Let  me know what you think of the bullets when you get some.  I am lactose intolerant and after a few bad runs with powders I decided to try the bullets.  Today was my first day and unfortunately I ended up running to and from the bathroom this afternoon.  I'm not sure if it's related.  I'm going to switch back to the lactose-free Isopure powders tomorrow and then give the bullets another try to see if I can isolate that reaction.  I'll update you.  Oh and I got mine at Vitamin Shoppe - they sell them individually and in 12 packs.  Not a great selection of flavors though....
