DAILY CHRISTMAS READING: Monday

8 days til Christmas!! Are you ready? May you de-stress for now and the rest of the year by keeping these points in mind.
  • You can only do so much.
  • What you cannot do today can be put off.
  • If you forget to do something ask yourself if it was really that important anyway.
  • Make a list of where you spend your time.
  • Make another list of what brings you the greatest joy.
  • Match the two lists and ask yourself. Are you spending time on the things that bring you the greatest joy? If the answer is yes--wonderful. If no--why not?
  • If you don't get something on your holiday list completed, cheer up, chances are noone knew it was on your list and Christmas comes every year.--COMMON BOUNDARIES

Are you strapped for cash, cannot give a gift?  Give time, not things.  Take someone on a drive, clean someone's home, take someone a meal, Take someone to the store, or to visit a loved one for the day then pick them up and take them home.  There are so many people out there who would love to go see their loved ones for Christmas but have no transportation to get there.  Be someone's sounding board for the day.  Have clothes you don't wear or need, give them to a homeless person.  These gifts would mean more than any amount of money would.  Take the time and give the gift of time.    --JudyB hugs and have a wonderful day!!!

Judy this is so true, there are so many out there with nothing. I have in the last year  seen so many homeless here right out my back door there is a bridge in Charlottesville that is loaded w/ homeless people I was shocked. So it is the little things that make  a difference.
