Good am all, How's everyone doing? How was your weekend? Ours was a little of everything. Friday I got a GREAT visit from a wonderful man(he just isn't around the boards anymore)& I loved getting hugs, listening to him play music & the chats. Friday pm I headed to pick up an item I ordered & then 2 books. To cap off Friday I got a great package in the mail that made me smile big time! Ohhhhh Santa likes...   Saturday I woke up not feeling great & started off with puking. Sounds fun huh? How bout it lasted most of the am/pm. TMI you might think? However, trust me when I say AGAIN like I've said before PAY ATTENTION to your body & its signs there is something wrong. It doesn't matter HOW far post-op we get. Ulcers have an ugly way of rearing their heads. Anyhow, I finished up most of my Cmas shopping, hooked with my sis, attempted lunch which well see previous waking up scenario then off for more shopping. Love my sis but shopping lasts for HOURS with that gal. Gotta real neat phone call while shopping so that helped. Ever get one of those headaches where you are BEGGING for relief? Yeah that is how I felt by the time my sis brought me home. Getting home in the later evening I kicked my shoes off & hit the bed for a while. Managed to hold down some seriously smashed taters without anymore puking thanks to meds, fluids & rest.  Sunday was pretty low key I picked up a few things to add to the Cmas gift projects I've been working on. It became more of a challenge than I thought but the thought & time & love behind them is soooo much fun!!! Am back to reading again. Yep this time there are 4 books I've been eyeing. Personal Stand: Observations & Opinions of a Freethinking Roughneck - Trace Adkins is the first one & its got some GREAT points for sure not too mention I dig his music. The next is Denise Jackson (Alan Jackson's wife - country music man) "Its All About Him" - haven't started it yet but am real excited as I've been reading bout it tons & get a mag called HomeLife which is a Christian magazine & its GREAT. The next is called Ghost Hunting by Jason Hawes & Grant Wilson. I LOVE Ghost Hunters! That is the kewlest show along with Dexter of course. So, I'll be busy in the reading department. Oh & the 4th book is re-reading the Boundaries book which I HIGHLY suggest. To cap off Sunday pm we lost power for more than 7 hours. It was all right until it got real dark then it got chillier but we managed. Bout 10 after 10 pm "every light in the house was on" to quote a song lyric.   So, here we are on Monday & WELCOME! Hope ya'll are doing all right. Hoping you got your fav cuppa, the newspaper, a show, some music or what have you to get your am's going. Big hugs, lots of prayers, happy thoughts & mushy love to ya'll! All best for your Monday....

I had a busy one as well had our FFP Chistmas get together  though we hada few cancel do to the weather we still had a great gathering  and they surprised me with a wonderful Christmas gift those little elves helped a special Santa out his year I was over joyed with emotion with these girls an guy cant for get my males in our group. We had a real good time with out gift exchange and next year I have a bigger thrill for them but they will have to wait all year for that one. : ). Then Sunday we went out to do last minute shopping for my sweeties employee's and town was a mad house so it was an adventure, then we had adinner and home. So today I have all this mess to get cleaned up and wrapped and ready for the end of the week. But any way  was real dissappointed we didnt get any snow as always the call for it and we get missed. And to those who have lost power and have gotten blasted prayers going out for them and may God be w/ them during this trying time. Hope all have a wonderful Monday.....

Hey Melinda - yep a busy weekend which I dug for the most part. Feeling a bit better tired of talking bout that part I'm taking some different actions to fix/alleviate things. Thanks for the prayers with the fam stuff. I figure it like this God's gotta plan & I don't dig it right now but I have to deal so I keep giving things to Him & hoping that sooner than later things straighten out. Glad the FFP Meet & Greet was peachy! I'm sure fun was had by all. Glad your heart was touched with a nice gift. The gift exchange sounded neat too. :) Losing power is not kewl but it does bring me back to simpler times & reminds me how much we depend on technology & honestly I'm a country gal living in the city. My neighbors were freaking bout the electricity being out. I'm thinking people its called dressing in layers & waiting things out. Some might not have capabilities to care for themselves without modern things so I feel for them. Hope your day has gone nicely.....

Good morning beautiful!!!  Wonderful weekend here.  Lots of time with my hubby & girlies, got to see most of my family between Saturday & Sunday.  Really enjoyed myself.  I seem to be really tired today though so I think tonight will be low key & go to bed early night.
