Since I've been MIA again, I perused ya'lls posts but don't see anything new about Lisa's condition.  Can anyone please advise?  Lisa, herself, perhaps??? I've been not feeling so good lately but am seeing Dr. Mo tomorrow.  Hope to get my 2nd fill too as wl has been NIL!!!  I'm rather discouraged but hopefully he can alleviate those feelings.

Well, time for another nap.  Just know I'm thinking of you all!!

Hugs!
Ann

I just happened to log on just to check in and let everyone know how I am doing... It's nice to know that there are folks thinking of me.  I am scheduled to see Dr. Mo on Thursday (12/20).  Not much has changed since last week.  I am in less pain than I was in before we went on our trip...although I know that this is short lived and it will come back.  I stuck pretty well to the liquids and vicodin diet while in TN...I did eat a little bit because the dry heaves were getting intolerable.   I am battling what appears to be some sort of stomach virus right now...thanks to my beautiful children.   One thing that seems to be baffling me AND the GI docs is my pain.  I seem to have severe pain for a few days and then it goes away for a few days.  It's almost as if the carafate is working part time or something.  Anyway...I'm still taking my meds and praying for healing of the ulcer.  I will update more on Thursday after my visit with Dr. MO.  My weight loss seems at a plateau right now...which is okay...I have other things on my brain! Thanks for thinking of me. Lisa

Hey Lisa.  All things considered, I'm glad you're getting SOME relief, even if only for short periods.  Being in pain can be exhausting.  And yes, there are plenty of us that think of you, & many others, everyday.  Have no fear, sweetie...you're not far from our thoughts & prayers. Too bad we couldn't have coordinated our visits to Dr. Mo's...I'm seeing him tomorrow...LOL. Take care, Lisa, & happy holidays to you & your family.

Hugs!

Thanks Melinda.  You're such a sweetheart.  I am getting lots of rest (been in bed since Sunday!) & Matt's keeping me hydrated (good kid).  I see the doc tomorrow so maybe we can find out what's wrong.  I'm not SICK sick, but every joint in my body hurts.  Don't know if it's wls related, but at least he's a doctor...lol. All the shopping & decorating is done & now I'm just waiting for Santa to arrive...or at the very least, see if Mike will put on the suit for me...wink, wink. I truly wish the most wonderous & happy holidays for you & yours. Oh, before I forget, I've decided to go into the wedding planning business...hint, hint...LOL.  Pass the word.

Hugs!

Good morning Ann  and Lisa, I pray for both of you to be feeling better.  Follow your bodies needs for rest and let me know if I can do anything for you. I may be long distance, but I'm very resourceful!
