Fredericksburg/Stafford Gastric bypass Group Support Meeting will be held on December (Wednesday) Fredericksburg-Stafford Activity Ctr, , This meeting is open to anyone who wants to know more about gastric bypass or considering the surgery and want to talk to people who have had it, to people who are scheduled for gastric bypass surgery and to people who have had the surgery. If you had the surgery some time ago and want to get back on track with encouragement – then this meeting is for you! No negativity – no weighing - only positive encouragement!
Come join us this Wednesday 19th to discuss our main topic of Holiday Eating – really we don’t have to go too crazy - it is only one or two days!! We all struggle with this topic to some extent or we would never have been in the situation of needing surgery in the first place - so don’t hesitate to come and join us and bring questions! We can help you get through the holiday season without total disaster! Also, if you want to, bring a few samples of “legal” food for others to try please feel free to bring them along so we can all try them. So, come hungry as Sue and I will bring some food for you all to try! It is the holiday season after all! !
As this is the last meeting of the season, feel free to bring your families or friends with you to try some of our good food - they are an important part of your support system!
After we discuss these subjects, feel free to bring up any topic of Weight Loss that is concerning you or that you are curious about. If we don’t know the answer we will get it for you! Please feel free to bring a friend - everyone welcome!!
***Also, those who attend will get a free copy of the OH Magazine - Obesity Help (OH) puts out a great magazine every two months and members of OH support groups will get one free! We also will be voting on which day of the week you would like your support group meeting next year…….
