GOOD THURSDAY AM ALL

Good am all, How are ya'll doing? Wonderful I hope. I'm sitting here sippin' on my cuppa. Nora is stirring but everyone else is resting (thankfully). Its a quiet am & much needed. Things have been chaotic & then yesterday for at least 5 of us our world forever changed with the passing of one of our friends of 14 years. It puts in perspective so much & I wanted to pass along that no matter the arguments, fussing, fighting, etc that occur don't let it be the last things you say/do together. It really speaks to not going to bed angry, communicating through one another about things instead of around one another about things. It has me wondering a lot of things but what it DOESN'T have me wondering is where our friend is. We know in our hearts and souls he's in Heaven with the Lord & we will see him again. Our sadness is only for a moment really as each day will sting less & less especially when we know he gave life all he could. Around the holidays & everyday frankly it is important to reach out to others and really let them know you love & care for them. We need to look outside ourselves and realize that us as a person isn't all there is & that it is BECAUSE of the Lord and the Angels He has put in our life that we grow, learn, experience and more. So, the next time we think or say "I'm busy", "I'm too busy", "maybe later", "in a little while" .....hmmmm "I'll call you back", "I'll stop by"...maybe we should keep our word. It could be the last time we get those opportunities.  I hope everyone has a wonderful Thursday! All best...

Thanks Melinda - I have NO doubt he's in Heaven smiling down on us. To be so full of life here is to KNOW he is with the Lord just as full of life. My views on death are a bit different in that grieving is different than for most (in my opinion). I tend to believe that this is just a "stop" on our journey & we are here to teach & learn lessons & give of ourselves to one another & try to do our best. Once we leave here we might mourn the physical passing of those we love because of the years (sometimes less) we share but it is the knowing we'll be reunited one day that keeps my faith & hope strong & in tact. As for the rest of the week things are going well & we are preparing more & more for Cmas. Hope you have a great day!

My heartfelt condolences on the loss of your friend.  Even expected I know it still hurts. I am doing good today.  Quite tired and need of some rest but we will have to see when I get that in.  Did some shopping last night & then bowled a bit.  Did not do all that great but enjoyed it.  Today being Thursday means work at both jobs.  Enjoy your day, count your blessings.  Love you!!!

My heart goes out to you in this time of loss.  Just yesterday afternoon I learned of a long time friend passing on. I read it in my  NJ hometown newspaper and was shocked. Connie was a hell raiser here on earth and I'm sure she is giving those other angels a run for their money so to speak To quote a song: Oh I believe there are angels among us Sent down to us from somewhere up above They come to you and me in our darkest hours To show us how to live To teach us how to give To guide us with a light of love

Kat, I really am sorry to hear of your loss, but you're right...he's in a good place now.  I learned with my experience with Auntie, not to mourn the loss but to celebrate the life.  I know you well enough to know that you will do that.  And just so I don't blow an opportunity.... I love you, Kat.

Hugs!
Ann
