You better enjoy it now while you can...lol.  Before long you'll be wishing you had a few of these days back! In the meantime, you need something constructive to do.  Ask a friend or family member to go to the nearest craft store & get you a set of Knifty Knitters.  They are round looms, 4 different sizes.  You'll need a skein of yarn & a pair of scissors too.  Follow the simple instructions & within a couple of days you will have knitted a scarf for somebody...maybe yourself!  I use the blue loom & knit hats for the newborns at our local hospital.  The new moms & dads just love them & they are gifts from my heart (donated, of course).  That way the tv will be on just for noise & your hands will be busy doing something fun with a wonderful outcome.  The nice thing too is that when you're ready for a nap, you just lay the loom down...no worry about dropping stitches!!  So get the looms & start knitting!!

Hugs!
Ann

Ahh yes....the stir crazy period. Please, whatever you do...don't do what I did...I picked up a paint brush and started painting the back bedroom (stupid! what was I thinking!? I wasn't!). As Ann said....find something to do with your hands and brain. Knit, read, scrapbook, whatever you feel....of course, if you want to get hooked on All My Children, I used to be junkie and could use a fix/update...lol...just kidding! This too shall pass!

Good am Amanda - I remember those days. Drove me crazy & I have never been a big TV fan so that was out for me. I journaled, read, slept, walked and sipped! BORING! But, I did learn to appreciate the down time as Kayla was 2 1/2 at the time, it was a break from work (in which I was working 12-16 hrs per day) and so when I returned to "normal" it was like um can I go back JUST for a little while. LOL! It'll get better. Happy Holidays to you & yours!

I laughed out loud when I read this.  I feel exactly the SAME way.  Bored silly!  Daytime TV is just horrible.  :)  I feel so fortunate today because my mom picked me up at 545am to bring me to my company breakfast before the Christmas shutdown (dont driving yet).  It was SOOO nice to get out and about and see everyone I've been missing.  Then she is getting off in about an hour and will pick me back up.  She's going to take me to Viatmin Shoppe for some supplies.  I love my mom!  She's the best!  :)

Lauren... I had a great friend Allison come and stay with me last night and we took a trip to Vitaminne shoppe YAY!  I got  IsoPure Orange Ice, Alpine Punch, and WorldWide Protein Banacreme shakes.. Beware, they dont sell things individually...  (Well at the one I went to they don't) so if you want a bunch of samples you have to buy them out of the cooler or go to GNC. YUMMY!! Have fun on your trip!
