I passed the state certification exam for EMT-B!! I have fretted for 24 hours because my partner's name was on the site as having passed, but mine had not appeared yet. Today it is there!! The 10+ pounds I have gained is now worth it! AND, it is now time for me to return to hiking and trail running to get these durned extra pounds back off. What a good thing I am off work for 2 weeks. it will be two weeks of intensive PT for Lois. Love to all and Happy Holidays! Lois

Oh Lois, I am rejoicing with you honey! I remember when I found I'd passed my cert...I was so darned proud of myself. Now get out there & save some lives. You have picked a most rewarding journey. I can hardly wait till I've lost enough bulk to get back to running calls...I miss it soooooo much. Just remember... Paramedics save lives, but EMT-Bs save paramedics!!!! (more truth to that than humor, actually)
