First off, I got to have lunch, such as it was, with our friend, Michael, as I try to do each time I go for a dr visit. He looks marvelous & who can resist that warm smile? And ladies, ya'll need to line up for his hugs...he gives good hugs!
Saw Dr. Mo yesterday. Even though I've been very discouraged with my lack of weight loss, he was quite the opposite. I had gained a few while in CA but had lost them by yesterday, so that was a positive thing. He gave me my 2nd fill & boy do I notice the difference already. Haven't stepped on the scale today but I will tomorrow.
We also talked about exercise & I now find myself in a dilemma. I bought into a one year obligation to Curves, but am not seeing any results at all, other than great fellowship. Dr. Mo feels that their workouts are not at the level that I need. I want to check with my local hospital about work out programs for cardiac patients. I just don't know how to get out of my obligation to Curves. Dr. Mo feels that a letter from my cardiologist would carry more weight (so to speak) than a letter from him, but I don't know. What do ya'll think? Some of you may have had a similar problem so advice would be greatly appreciated.
As for the joint aches I've been having, Dr. Mo reminded me that I am still over 200 lbs & that I was having the same problems before surgery. So obviously I still need to work on my patience skills. I have tons of patience for everyone else but myself & I need to learn to break that tape. Even though I've lost 30 lbs ( depending on what day it is), that's not enough to expect huge changes yet. Patience, Annie, PATIENCE!!!
I'm almost ready for Christmas day...just have a few more gifts to wrap. Ohhhh, I almost forgot to mention...I'm getting a kitty for Xmas!!!!! He's 6 months old, a rescue, black & white & has a bobbed tail so guess what I'm naming him? BOB!! Duhhh....LOL. We hope to bring him home this weekend.
I truly wish everyone a joyous, safe & happy Christmas!!! Love to all!!!!
Hugs!
Ann
