GOOD CHRISTMAS EVE ALL

Good am, How are ya'll doing? Its Christmas Eve! How was your weekend? Ours was packed with activities & we had a house full. Not complaining as it made the time pass by fast plus my nephews spent the night so we had a carpet party as I call them. There was no bedtime curfew, no real rules other than not blowing up the house & the kids really enjoyed it. Must say kids don't sleep much when they are together and all hyped up. Made for an interesting time with me trying to get rest. Got some errands done, saw a great couple of friends & managed to watch another movie (dumb) Christmas Do-Over. Laundry, chores, cleaning house, errands, a few last minute Cmas items & wrapping them.  Today is going to be pretty low key. Going to look after my nephews for 3 hours then back here to prepare for Cmas Eve. I'm excited a bit (mostly for the buggas). They will open their stockings this pm. Kayla keeps asking what time for the past 3 days.  Otherwise, it'll be a couple movies, baking, last minute things & then this pm we'll feed the reindeers their food on the front lawn & off to bed. I'm sure they'll be up early. It'll be some opening here, then off to my sis's to open, then back here for the G-parents and hopefully a NAP!  Happy Christmas Eve all! I hope that its wonderful for everyone. Enjoy your family & friends & remember to give thanks to the Lord as He is the reason for the season which NEVER sounds cliche to me. Going to enjoy some Cmas music & sip my cuppa & really reflect on things & pray to Him for all the things I'm thankful for in my life. Merry Christmas as well to everyone! I hope its the best yet! Know what? It already is just waking up & knowing the Lord has blessed us with another glorious day.

Good morning pretty lady!  Happy Christmas Eve to you!  It sounds like you are going to have a wonderful Christmas with your family.  :) I'm glad to have no plans today.  We finished a bit of last minute shopping yesterday and went to the video rental store last night so I could veg out and have a movie marathon today.  :) Unfortunately my husband has to work today, but I have sternly suggested he cut off by 3pm so he can make the long drive home in time for our Church's Christmas concert tonight at 6pm.  He's working in Northern Virginia today so I'm hoping 3 hours will be enough to get home since we expect him to hit traffic.  We'll see.  My mother is going to come with us, so if he doesn't make it at least she will be with me.  I went ahead and gave him his ticket just in case he has to meet us there.  I'm really excited to go tonight.  I can't wait to see what kind of program they have.  Also this is the first time my mother will be joining us at our Church so I hope it's not too over the top for her. (Our Church is one of the contemporary casual service with a live band and all...she's used to a traditional Catholic service) I was so excited yesterday because my husband did something very out of character for him.  We went to Walmart and Best Buy last night and picked out each others gifts while the other person waited in the car.  So I was waiting outside Walmart for him and when he got back he surprised me with a few extra presents for my parents that he picked out himself!!  BELIEVE THAT!  :)  It really touched my heart and I can't wait to see their reaction when I say he picked out their gifts all by himself.  We will be having Christmas dinner with them tomorrow.  I can't wait to open presents.   :) Well, have a wonderful day and holiday tomorrow.

Good Morning Kat, Just finished serving snowman pancakes to the kiddos.  Last night we had relatives stop by so the kiddos had a hard time falling asleep after opening their presents.  i've had a yucky sinus cold so I am resting today.  Later tonight we will play "What God wants for Christmas" with the children then put out our cookies for Santa.   I wish everyone a wonderful Christmas!

Merry Christmas Eve!!!!!!! We had a busy weekend, shopping, baking, visiting.  It was nice.  Today is some lasts minute cleaning, got to go get the girlies, maybe trip to the mall for one last thing, some baking, a visit to my sis-in-laws for dinner, then home for the traditional one christmas eve gift.  My hubby has to work today, the mail must go on, so hoping his day isn't too bad or long. I hope everyone has a blessed holiday and wonderful time with family & friends.  I know that I have had a lot of blessings this year and expect a wonderful Christmas to reflect on them all. Love you!!!!!!!!!!

Santa comes early and fills your stockings?? I am taking a break right now. We just made banana pudding and green beans for tomorrow. I am about to go jump in the shower wile the baby is napping. We have an extra kiddo here for Christmas ( Michelle's sister) so I was out this weekend shopping for her since I already finished with the kids. We have to bake cookies for Santa and then I have to get the breakfast cassrole put together to throw in the oven in the morning. Then we will open our Christmas eve pj's (always pajamas) and we will watch polar express. I will serve hot choclate for the movie. We will write Santa a letter, leave him his milk and cookies, sprinkle reindoor food on the lawn and off to bed. I am so excited for tomorrow cause Santa told me what he is bringing the kids and they are going to have an awesome Christmas!!
