I would like to echo Jill's words about our service men & women & their families. We love & appreciate you all so much.
Joe, you're right...they ARE very cute!! I will post a new pic around New Year's Day. Don't know how cute I'll be but at least it will be a new one...lol.
Our day began at 7 am with a happy birthday wake-up call for Mike from my bestfriend, Mickie. He's 55 today. Gee, ummm...I've never slept with a senior citizen before...tonight will be a first!! roflmao!!! Anyways, after showers & dressing, we all headed to "the farm" where we enjoyed a big breakfast consisting of fried oysters, eggs, & pancakes (he put sausage in the pancake batter...was onolicious!!). Would you believe a bite of egg white got stuck in my now-smaller tube??? SCHAZZBOTT!!! That really hurt. After that we just enjoyed the fellowship as we watched the little ones open presents. It's so nice to have little ones to share Christmas with again.
And now we're back home, snug as 3 bugs in a rug. Mike's watching tv & grinding on leftover Christmas eve dinner, Matt's watching a dvd & I've been working on my new business. Chris called from his Mom's in OK to wish us a Merry Christmas, as did Mike's brother. Oh yeah, MY brother called this morning from Germany, where he's lived for almost 30 years. So all is well in the Scholl house.
In a few more days we will begin a whole new year. I expect nothing but wonderful adventures & even more new friends. As for the ones I have now, here on OH, I love you all & feel so blessed to have you on my adventerous path. Thank you for your support, your encouragement, for making me laugh & making me cry, & for challenging me everyday to keep up with the new me that is slowly emerging. You are my OH Ohana.
To end this on a silly note, I give you the Hawaiian version of The Twelve Days of Christmas...
