Holiday Fitness Challenge - Dec 25th
Good Morning, Folks...........
It's early in my neck of the woods, but I was just SO excited to get up - haha......Yes...I'm worse than the kids.....
Well, just because it is Christmas does not mean that we slack off today. It is more importnat today to get the blood moving than any other day this month. Why you ask???? Because there is SO much food and drink around us that being active today is a GREAT distractor.
So...instead of hanging out at the cookie table, like you do every year....go for a walk. In fact...grab a buddy and both of you go for a walk. Ok...for you guys...grab your sister, aunt, wife or daughter - they will walk with you.
Walking today is not only a great distractor, but also a great way to catch up. Your walking does not have to be fast. Make distance to goal for today and not the amount of time.
Why not try 2 or 3 (1) mile walks today? You could reasonably do them in 20 - 25 minutes each.
Just see what you can do......
Enjoy your day with your loved ones, and remember....build great memories today and not eat them!
