For those who pray, please

I need some prayer for strength. While my cir****tances are nowhere near as difficult as some of those who have posted, the coming few weeks could be life changing for me and my family.  I have worked for 21 years with the same contract service. For the last six years I have been assigned to Inova Fair Oaks Hospital as the Director of Housekeeping. While the commute from Fredericksburg is long (1 1/2 to 2 hours each way), I love working there and love the people I work with. It is the best place I have ever worked during my 21 year career with Aramark.  My concern is that the Inova System has recently completed a bidding process for the services I provide. Two other contract services have submitted bids for the same service. Very soon we will learn whether we are going to be retained or whether the contact is going to a new contract service. If it goes to someone else, then I will have to find an open position at another facility that Aramark contracts with. This could mean suddenly having to move somewhere in the US or at 53 years of age having to try and find a new job. My daughter is a senior in Stafford County High School and my wife is an elementary school teacher/librarian in Spotsylvania County. Moving right now would be very traumatic for them too. So while trusting in God's love and care, I am beginning to feel a bit fearful of what may happen. Twice before when I have had to transfer to another account I ended up being away from family for almost a year. This was harmful to both my family and me. I don't know if I could handle it again at my age. So, I ask for prayers from all of you who believe in the power of prayer. 1.) That God's will would be done, 2.) That I would accept whatever his will would be, and 3.) That I not make a stupid decision (and I have done it before) along the way. Thanks Michael

Michael, Amy and I will be praying for you, your family, and the people at INOVA responsible for the award decision. I have also felt the undertainty of contract awards that are completely outside of your control. The waiting can be terrible, but, as you know, there is no cause for despair. The Lord has a plan for you and your family and He has promissed to never forsake you. That is something that you can be sure of, and will be true regardless of whether Aramark is awarded the contract or not. I pray that God will continue to work out His perfect will in your life, that He will fill your heart with His peace, that He will give you the calm assurance that His love for you and your family is everlasting, and that win or lose, He will continue to be your rock and your salvation. Thanks Joe, you are so right about His plan for our lives. He has never failed me, and yet in my human weakness, I still become fearful at times. Faith, wisdom, strength, courage, compassion and love are what I ask for always. Your concern and compassion are very much appreciated.

Micheal ,  Prayer is so powerful .. as I am a true witness of .  First let's make sure we do not let Satan win at all here .. no fear .. only positive affirmations .. we will pray that God's will is to do what is best for your family .. and for your life .  He will not give you anything you cannot undertake .. or go through .. he will empower you beyond your imagination ..  Just keep your thoughts of those that are in favor of a good decision , do not let evil win here .. trust in the Lord and know that he as you spoke .. will provide and guide   !  Many blessings to come your way !   Natalie

Michael: You are definitely in my thoughts and prayers.  I know what a fantastic job you do at Fair Oaks...you leaving would be a tremendous loss for them and all of the people who benefit from your direction of the department.  I pray that those making the decisions will have the forethought and insight to send the contract to Aramak and you, Michael. Stay strong, Cindy
