I can almost see the wheels turning here ..
I would take it easy .. go for something soft yet filling .. For me it was tuna salad .. on toast .
I ate a lot of salads .. lots of soft fruit ..

Helping Others Find Their Way to a Life They Deserve!
I am so jeqlous. I was so looking forward to eating at one of my favorite NY restaurants (before WLS)...and i was not at all what I remember it to be. It was one of the most disgusting taco I think I ever had. I was so hungry though I had to eat some thing. I ate half of it - and came back to the hotel room and had a protein instead and my night time vitamins.
It still amazes me that being over 2 years out how my tastes have changed...and sometimes change day to day!
Did you make the chicken curry soup yourself? If so - can you pm me with the recipe? It sounds great!!!
Have a great day!
Hugs!
Jill

Something to think about...There are two ways of spreading light...to be the candle or the mirror that reflects...No matter what may cross your path today...choose to have a great day!!!

Amanda - I am not sure that a cream soup is a good choice to get used to as we really should avoid those - unless you made it yourself and know what is in it. I know everyone is different but our surgeon always told us to avoid cream soups - they are much higher in calories and fat content...
But good news that you are at last on solid foods! Now you can experiment......... just be careful of new foods and only try one new thing at a time in case it does not agree with you - then you can isolate what it was - and avoid it for a while. Sometimes things that don't agree with us in the beginning can agree with us later on......
Good luck
Jackie
