I know this was discussed once before but I can't find the thread. I have finally become a convert to the Fage Yogurt - after being convinced I would not like it - I actually love it!! It is hard to find in my area but I found a health food store - if anyone knows of a supermarket that sells it in Fredericksburg or Stafford I would appreciate knowing it because the Health food store is pretty expensive and only sells the big tubs. My question is   - do any of you have any good recipes for how to use it? I can use my bullet and do fruit in it - as long as I use splenda to sweeten it - anyone have any savory ways it can be used? Also do you know if it can be heated or has to be cold? Sorry but I am a novice at using it - but a definte convert! Thanks for all youe help. Jackie

Jackie ,  Here are some ideas .  Mix SF Bannana Pudding Mix .You must start out slow . I normally use about 2 tablespoons . But you can add to taste .    SF Orange Pudding Mix  SF Chocolate Pudding Mix  FAGE and Honey .. with some walnuts added .. Use just plain Splenda ., add some granola  Just play with the recipes .  I have used it on my baked potatoe .. so I would think you could heat it .  You can also use it mixed with Rocatta Cheese and Splenda to make a really decadent desert . I just do not have the measurements .  Enjoy !  Tink

Thanks - good ideas - I just read on their web side that they extract the whey from it so you can use it at high temperatures as it does not curdle...so this should be interesting lol! Jackie

I started using a plain low fat/low carb yogurt and draining it overnight to get the same result as Fage - at a lower price and more accessible.

I would be afraid I turned it bad lol! Does it come out as thick as Fage? - that is one reason I like it - makes me feel very full.... Jackie

You might want to experiment with how long you let it drain.  The longer it drains, the thicker and creamier it gets.  Start with a brand of yogurt you know you already like.  Keep in mind you end up with less yogurt - which may be one of the reasons the Fage is more expensive.

I'm doing fine Jackie, just been going home to visit my dad. He had open heart surgery in November and is now in a nursing home. Busy and worried about him.  I saw your after pictures of your tummy tuck and you are looking like America's Next Top Model.

I am sorry aboiut your dad - hopefully he can continue to get better...... Lol! You are too funny - but the lower body lift certainly did make a difference to how my clothes fit - I went down about 2 clothes sizes!! Hope to see you at a meeting soon! Jackie
