One Year Ago Today !

Yes today is my birthday . And thank you to all that have posted thus far to my birthday wishes . But what you do not know is that today is 1 year from the day my Husband asked me to marry him . Here is how it went . We got to Ruth Cris Steak house , I am thinking that the ring we picked out would not be ready till mid Feb .. went on to dinner thinking this was my birthday celebration only . We had a few drinks .. a great meal ( swordfish ) and there sat a card on the table the entire time . After dinner , they brought me a piece of chocolate cake and icecream ... they sang Happy Birthday .. then they all just stood there .. Alan then said .. Open the card .. It read .. Happy Birthday Day and many More .. Then it had in his writing --- Turn the page .. so I did .. on the back of the card it said .. Next year will be even better when you are my wife .. WILL YOU MARRY ME .. While I was reading this he was down on one knee with tears in his eyes .. and the ring box opened .. I just about came out of my chair !!! Here we are on our wedding day !!

Tonight we have reservations to go back and celebrate again .. not only my birthday but our Anniversary of our Engagement . I would have never met him 4 years ago as an Obese person . I was too ashamed to even go out .. but here he is .. and I love him . Thanks for letting me post this .. a Very Happy Day for me ! __________________

Happy birthday and engagement day. I am a January baby aas well and My husband actually asked me to do a JP befor ethe wedding on my birthday because he could not wait to be married any longer. SO we got married a week after my birthday also in January and had a wedding in July:) You bothe look so happy and so much in love. COngrats
