He is the best man ever and I just need to boast for a moment... So this week I returned to work. Ive been having a hard time eating slowly these last few days so dinners and nights are well not to pleasant.  Anyhoo... Being my first week back to work, I have been exhausted... Im sure you all know what that feels like.. Well I was trying to figure out what I was going to have for dinner.. and he said go lay down and I'll take care of things... I went and took a nap.. he came to get me when dinner was ready.  He had measured 5/8 of an oz of steak (which he grilled). He loves to grill and the weather was just BEAUTIOUS... and 1 oz of baked potato.  Whizzed it with my immersion blender (Thanks Mom!) so it was all soft and blended... and voila...  Then he kept reminding me every so often to eat slow, gave me time udpates so I Knew where I was... and TOINGHT.. I can proudly say..  1) I LOVE MY HUSBAND  - He is the best 2) I didn't get sick and I took a full 30 min to eat and it was the best damn meal since WLS!!!  WOW

ahhhhh what a sweety!  I am not sure if my husband would have done all that.  I would have to ask for him to do it. I must say thought ahe does let me sleep oin on occasion and takes care of the kids. A big pat on the back for your hubby and let him know he has made several of us envious:)

Having a supporting spouse Rocks .. funny you should post this .  Laat night at dinner, we at at Ruths Chris Steak house , Alan kept asking me .. Are you ok .. Do you have something stuck ?  Then later on it was " Are you dumping ? "  I have found that most spouces incorporate this verbage into their vocab for the rest of their lives .  Good For you .. And Congrats on a flawless dinner !  Tink

Very nice Amanda!  It is great to have the support.  My hubby is pretty good with it also, wish I had known him when I first had surgery.

My hubby was supportive...you know..before he left....and even though he is gone when he came to take the kids to school the other day- I told him how much I had lost...and he smiled really big and was amazed...I guess that is at least something. You have a great hubby!! Go tell him that!
