New Challenge with a TWIST!!

Grab yer walkin' shoes, Monique...we're all hittin' the road!!!!  You will host the week of Feb 25 to Mar 2nd. I lived in AZ for 3 years while my hubby was stationed at Ft. Huachuca....we LOVED it there!  Almost retired there, but we'd fallen in love with VA so here we are.  I adore Phoenix, but you can cover up Tucson...yuck!  We were in a 4x4 club & went places in AZ that I'm certain man & machine were NOT supposed to go, but I"m so glad we did. I, too, struggle with motivation.  I just realized a few days ago that I've been suffering from grief depression.  I've had to say goodbye to 3 loved ones in a year & a half, most recently my Aunt a few days before Thanksgiving.  But, with the help of these wonderful folks here, & family & friends, I'm back on track & excited about getting my move on.  I even got on my recumbent bike tonight & did 2 miles!!!!  I got the thing for Xmas a couple of years ago & I'll bet I haven't put more than 10 or 15 miles on it since I got it.  Pathetic, eh?  Well, that's gonna change soon.  I also got a Pilates set...haven't even opened the box yet, but now I'm getting curious about it. Anyway, I'm very excited that you are gonna join our little group.  Where in VA are you headed?  Oh dare I hope it will be somewhere close to me??? LOL  You really must tell us all about you & yours.  We're a pretty close-knit family here so don't be surprised at all the new brothers & sisters you will acquire here. Anyways, WELCOME!!!

  Thank you Ann, I will be living near Ft Lee my boyfriend is stationed there he retires in alittle over a year. I was supposed to go active army as soon as I was done with my training but got hurt so now i'm going to stay Nat Guard for alittle while (wasnt supposed to be Guard n dont like it) I still have to go back to Ft lee for my pt test and 4 days of kicking in doors and shooting things but I have about 5mo before I have to do that..    I did'nt like Va when I got there but by the time I left I absolutly loved it and can't wait to get back. I was supposed to be there on the 4th but things happened so I will be there on the 18th for sure.  Everyone on this board is so much nicer than the other ones. I don't even go on the Az one..  Cant wait to get moved.. and start walking
